My used wrangler came with spacers and the original wheels but wider tires. After the bearings went out I had the spacers took off and the tires put into some wider wheels with a different offset and have 60k miles so far with no trouble

With that size spacer you will have zero issues. Most aftermarket wheels space out that far. All the comments are theoretical, not actual.

That seems like a common theme, e36/46 strut caps breaking bolts. Mine did this when I removed the ones the previous owner literally welded to the hub assembly after losing the bolts 😂😂

Lol I got 2inch aluminum lug centric spacers on my 2006 Dodge Ram with fox racing shocks and they see lots of bumps, jumps and 100MPH regularly off-road. Been doing it for years

I don’t think it was trashing you about using spacers. It’s just that they can fail. Enough to kill other people that are not involved. Going cheap on the most important part is never a great option. Insurance companies will use this illegal modification to point blame.
So more or less it’s karen but because they care instead of getting something for nothing.

I must be the luckiest man in the world; my MaxSpeedingRods only cost $250 from eBay, allowed me to lower the car a touch (not so much in front) and the handling is much improved. 1998 Honda Prelude. Garage Built Hondas did a 6 month update on the quality of the coils. Worth the money IMO
