As we predicted more than a century ago, the Chinese empire, the Center of the World the Sinocentrist Chiang Kai-shek established, occupying Manchukuo, Mongolia, Tibet, and East Turkestan is now on the next step to conquer the world. China is pushing EVs to conquer the world.

  6. Marco Panzanni on November 22, 2023 at 5:34 am

We will see how many "battery houses" NIO sets up at the rate they are burning cash

  7. Steven Tan on November 22, 2023 at 5:34 am

China’s EV and RE ambition was first and foremost to reduce air pollution in China and not to dominate the world. Any other consequences are secondary.

  8. The Case on November 22, 2023 at 5:35 am

We allowed Indian to become pharmacy of the world, merkel would have been like we allowed china to be only producer of evs. There is difference, so stop china by not being rude. Put in laws that eu regulations of yours.

Can those Chinese EVs access our WIFI network? an American asked.

  11. Kay Lee on November 22, 2023 at 5:39 am

Let me guess: when they’ll outcompete you on your own playground, with your own rules, then you’ll be pulling out the "national security" BS card and start sanctioning and banning, right ? 😂😂😂

Das Merkel den Diesel stützte. und jetzt FDP Lindner wieder versucht alte Teknologien zu Stützen war und ist Riesen Fehler. / It was a major mistake of Merkel to support Diesel and try to protect old teknologier. Even to day FDP Lindner still want’s to Protekt fuel instead of Electric. 😞

in the 9 months since this was published, the chinese brands lineups are almost a generation ahead of whats shown here, and that ladies and gentlemen, is the pace of the chinese industry, so hold on in your seats. Even aspects like advanced microchips availability are being taken care domestically by SMIC. And BYD’s incredible Oceans line, designed by Wolfgagn Egger, and factories already being constructed abroad (old ford factories in Brazil and others), Geely’s Zeekers, Lynks&Co, Polestars, the funkiness of the Oras, the Tanks, the affordable and fast MGs, and so on and so on… It’s a new era for car industry, let’s see if Europe can level up their game as much as needed..

German car is here for what? Over a hundred year? 😂 Funny to hear they are shivering with Chinese knock off car 😂 Elon is the one you should all car menufac worry about 😂 Here in my country people who bought German’s car are not shifting to Chinese EV 😊 they all get Tesla 😊

  18. Stefan Gabor on November 22, 2023 at 5:46 am

Wishful thinking for Germany. Yes, Germany will come up with a few E brands, however, it will never be able to compete with China. It is a number game.
In fact, Germany should know better than anyone else since Germany was and still is the top in ICE.

  19. D M on November 22, 2023 at 5:47 am

"China steals European technology" LoL. if europe has the technology then why can’t they compete with China?

I’m Chinese, I support the European governments to ban Chinese goods based on bad human rights violations records of CCP. Only in this way will CCP lost its rights to rule China and we Chinese can have the true freedom! Even I would suffer from economic losses. But I think comparing to freedom, anything else is not important! European people, pls stand together with the Chinese people and boycott any product that fabricated in China. Because that’s the blood factory that exploited the Chinese people! 我是中国人 我支持欧洲禁止进口中国产品包括电动车!❤

On the say day, Ursula von der Leyen spoke about the investigation to Chinese E autos in Europe. I think the punishment zoll is on the way for China made E autos in Europe.

Even if Germany doesn’t buy chines cars entire second world is waiting for them. By by Germany 🇩🇪 who supports ethnic cleaning of Poor Gazza people

  31. James N-guyen on November 22, 2023 at 6:02 am

China has been a trading nation for 5000 years. Their strength is making and building stuff (as oppose to their main rival who’s strength is from killing and destruction). You can’t beat 1+ billion maths nerds. The only way you can compete is to adopt the American method…sabotage, racist propaganda and military threats but China isn’t like poor defenseless third world countries that the USA and the west targets.

  32. 8 Richard on November 22, 2023 at 6:07 am

When I was a child, China was full of German Volkswagen cars. Now the quality of local car brands in China is better than before, but not everyone has them. There are two Volkswagen cars downstairs.

  33. ronhon100 on November 22, 2023 at 6:08 am

Come on Germans, did you forget Angela Merkel was so angry to the reluctant behaviors on changes, how your car manufacturers wasted years on the EV developments.

  38. sandra huntington on November 22, 2023 at 6:14 am

Car dealers are now refusing to accept electric vehicle in part exchange because the batteries will need replacing at around 9 years at a cost of about £9,000…. You will be stuck with your old unwanted EV

  39. Kawai Wong on November 22, 2023 at 6:14 am

It’s not just cars, it’s a vast range of quality Chinese products. There are loads of Chinese brands available across Asia that haven’t really touched western markets and the quality is very high. TVs, air conditioners, fridges, cookers, all sorts of electronic appliances are great.

  40. August Connors on November 22, 2023 at 6:18 am

The CEO of a European and especially USA Car company has to hold a board meeting and debate the pros and cons of making an electric car with money from the Fossil Fuel industry in his back pocket to keep ICE cars. I need to keep my Shareholders happy. China started with we are going to make Electric cars as we know that fossil fuel cars (Gas, Hydrogen, Petrol, Diesel) are on the way out and we can not compete with German engineering. The Chinese Government says, "This is our Long Term Plan, No Debates just do it and here is the money for R&D."

there was a time when the Chinese automobile industry was struggling to keep up with Western & Japanese automobile manufacturers & failing miserably . . . and now, (fast forward to 2022 onwards) the same Western automotive giants are struggling to keep up with Chinese made EVs (what an irony) . . . so much so that car makers like Ford & Volkswagen even setup vehicle assembly lines in China . . .

  44. Dicas Chinesas on November 22, 2023 at 6:21 am

    "China’s e-cars offensive?"

What do you mean by that?
    You DW, you are offensive.
China is not in an offensive, China is selling, trading, that is what it is!
What about all the German brands selling in China?
Are they in an offensive too?

DW’s sinophobia and sense of supremacy are astonishing,
a showcase of what is wrong with German in particular and the West in general!
    Despicable, desgusting, outrageous!

Why Chinese Should Worry About German’s car expansion?
Why Brazilian Should Worry About German’s car expansion?
Why Indians Should Worry About German’s car expansion?
Why Mexicans Should Worry About German’s car expansion?
Why Nigerians Should Worry About German’s car expansion?
Why Thais Should Worry About German’s car expansion?
Why Turkish Should Worry About German’s car expansion?
Why Algerians Should Worry About German’s car expansion?
Why Indonesians Should Worry About German’s car expansion?
Why Polish Should Worry About German’s car expansion?

I won’t buy an EV, "MADE CHINA".

I doubt China will last more than 10 years.
So spares, service, and warranty will be a massive problem throughout the cars life.

  49. Mike Want on November 22, 2023 at 6:28 am

Even tesla needs Chinese batteries to make EV cars. Germany VW ceo knows that Car AI must be made in China. So, your title is just a jokem

Europeans prefer losing to China than losing to Russia. The complete destruction of the European car industry will be the inevitable result.
