I’m ngl I was a little offended about the whole 10th gen bit XD. I own an 04 heritage edition with 250k miles on it and never once have I needed any kind of major mechanical repair. I’ve had some bad gaskets causing small oil leaks but that was the worst it ever got. Hell I ran the engine with close to 0 oil in it one time without knowing and it still performed admirably. it’s a great truck and actually my next truck that I buy will definitely be another 10th gen.
Personally the 11th gen f150 is my favorite body style because my dad has one and I just think they look really nice especially with a build and I want one really bad

They even admitted that the 11th gen was one of the worst models ever made by Ford. They actually know that it was a shit engine. Thatās unbelievable

Tldr: the ones that get customized the most and survive to being shitbox construction trucks.
Lots of F150s have issues down the road, with either turbo issues, spark plugs issues, total failure etc, but the 2021+ are having issues right out of the factory. Quality issues, electronics failing, shuddering, trans issues, the V8s are now V4s half the time. I think the best are the OBS and 2017-2020 Generation (I say 2017 because that’s when the Gen 2 EcoBoost came out and the 10 speed came out.0
My dad had the 10th gen with the 4.6 V8, 11th gen with the 5.4 V8, and 12 gen with the 5.0 V8. He liked his 10th but didn’t use it much causing it to rust. His 11th gen was poorly assembled and unreliable. He had his 12th gen for damn near 10 years and it never let him down. He didn’t take care of it very well, so it got a bit rusty too. He now has a new 14th gen with one of the Ecoboost V6 engines and likes it so far, knock on wood. I want a 12th gen some day

Drove an 89 F250 with 300 straight six & five speed manual. Did anything and everything it had to do. Worked the hell out of it in the oilfield. Best work truck I ever had. That’s saying something. As I’ve had more than a few.

Iām sorry but the ford f1 does not look like a military truck. A military truck would have flat fenders, lights on top of those fenders, and 4×4.

They dogged on the 11th gens because of the 5.4 3 valve engine as if no other engine was available, but then somehow overlooked that the same damn engine was used in the 12th gen.

I know mine technically isnāt a 10th gen F150, but itās the 1st gen Expedition. Love the body style, love that itās massive before everything became bulky. Great solid engine after you work the kinks of loose plugs.
