Why a Honda use a Polaris ranger or can am defender
I love the ram rebel, but something that makes it suffer is that it doesn’t have a disconnecting sway bar or a front locker, that’s the only thing that it is missing since it’s built for off road
Im trying to decide on getting a duramax or some diesel or a grand cherokee sport. Also taking into account daily driving and being able to do labor and go camping and stuff, Ive been leaning towards the truck but all the time im going back and forth haha anyone got tips or pointers?

Climbing rocks is all about what wheel you have how much power and weight so you can get up the rocks to get traction

The pickup is the better all around vehicle. Not many people actually use their jeeps for rock crawling.
The pioneer 500 does not compare to other side x sides. Should have picked something different. Also, the driver of the rebel is horrible.

The pioneer lacks a front diff lock and is the smallest japanese manufactured sxs intended for narrow trails and work. A modern sxs would go up that stuff much faster and smoother. You get truck stuck you got a 5000 plus pound anchor sxs like 1300 to 2000lbs to pull out. This test just isn’t a fair test due to sxs used. The pioneer is 3 wheel drive which showed in first test. This video needs a part 2. A can am or polaris rzr or general. They can go across fields 70 mph truck you’d have to have back and neck surgery possibly resul in death or paralyzed from the lack of suspension at 70 mph. There 2 different animals really. Truck comfort a real sxs much better ride go more places especially on trails

Obviously no body took this comparison serious because of they had took the worst utv made, a honda pioneer. My can am max is 72 in wide with 20 inches of front travel and 24 inches of rear travel with 195 hp and carries 4 people. 4 grown men can comfortably ride in this beast at 85 mphs down washboard huge whoop terrain that only a million dollar trophy truck can beat. If u hit the tight rock climbing trails you spend half the time on the trail and climb 70% faster with less breaks. The only place that my can am is out performed over my trd pro 4 runner or modded Tundra is running down the fwy. There is no comparison between a top of the line utv and 4 wd truck, jeep or 4 runner. A can am x3 or polaris xp rzr is built for the offroad, mud, rocks, sand, desert nothing can compete with them except another utv.
why they didn’t use Toyota?
I like Jeep capable but hate when is not reliable. Wish Jeep put Toyota engine in their vehicle.

You choose a top-shelf Jeep, a top-end RAM truck, and the most anemic, underpowered, worst suspended, small-wheeled UTV… ??? Seriously? How about an honest comparison by way of choosing a likewise top-shelf, properly suspended, properly powered, properly shod UTV? Had you done so, it would have kicked rocks in the face of both the Jeep and the RAM.

A Ram Rebel is not even close to the most off-road worthy pickup. Why choose it for this test?
Why not use a ram 1500 reg cab short box like mine. 4×4 with the hemi? Make it more competitive.
A RZR 1000 XP Would be at the top of the hill in half the time of the Rubicon and the driver having 3x as much fun.

"keep momentum", means drive up it at 5-10 MPH rather than idle up it at .5 MPH and gun it when it breaks traction…

so I live out on the east coast. I own a 16 Rebel I’ve modified a bit for overlanding, 35s, and rock sliders. I’ve been off roading a few times and the rebel is great for certain things, I rarely ever struggle for traction but with the rocks and trails we have on the east coast, the Breakover angle is the downfall of the rebel, that’s why I’m actually in the market for a 2 door wrangler now. the rebel is comfortable and great for the family, but the breakover angle is definitely the biggest downfall of the rebel, yes and it is quite large and you cant see over the hood in certain circumstances.
You need like an rzr or can am not a honda

Why would you pick a lower end sxs and compare it against a top Jeep model and top ram model 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ because they know a rzr or canam would smoke 💨 them…
What I got from this is that pioneer cost $9000 and both the ram and jeep cost $40000+ and the pioneer still made it. Also the pioneer is funner to break and cheaper to fix.
