What’s the best fuel for your car?

What’s the best fuel for your car?

Dig into which fuel— gasoline, electric, biofuels, or electrofuels— is both affordable for consumers and sustainable for the planet.

Historically, most cars have run on gasoline, but that doesn’t have to be the case in the future: other liquid fuels and electricity can also power cars. So what are the differences between these options? And which one’s best? Dig into which fuel— gasoline, electric, biofuels, or electrofuels— is both affordable for consumers and sustainable for the planet.

I get that electric cars are better for the environment than gasoline fueled cars, but this video conveniently ignores that most electricity comes from fossil fuels.

Actually gasoline is known as the energy for almost cars. This kind of energy consists of crude oil and hydrocarbon. It has dozen of drawbacks: exhorbitant price, fatal diseases, greenhouse gas, extreme weather,… Electricty is more expensive than gasoline. Gas power without fossil fuel is easy for shipping. However, green energy is not affordable. That’s the reason why it is called "Green Premium". Consequently, the government is assisting people by sponsoring the price

Gasoline is efficient? On about 30% of the energy is converted to kinetic energy. That’s not efficient at all

But isn’t the production of the electric car’s battery a polluting thing by itself?

The best fuel is petrol. The sound of a high performance engine and feel of it is intoxicating. Nothing beats that feeling of joy it gives.

Funny thing is that electric cars are the most polluting ones with the mining for the batteries and the wasted batteries

What about cars powered by a hydrogen fuel cell?

  20. Jean Yatim on February 21, 2023 at 12:14 pm

This short is rather propaganda instead of information. When had EV become cheaper the IC? In addition to that the energy density and mining plus Indutrial processes have their owl (and large) carbon print. The short claims that fossil fuel are subsidized ( I pay 100% taxes on my pump), and 2 seconds after explains about subsidies for EV. Final comment, should 10% of the potential car buyers decide to go electric, it will take more than 5 years to fulfill their demand.

  21. King Tunip on February 21, 2023 at 12:15 pm

Carbon neutral violates the law of perpetual motion… that energy escapes and energy can’t be created by itself to run forever.

  25. Gokul Payyanur on February 21, 2023 at 12:19 pm

The electric vehicle is the best choice right now, but we can make hydrogen-powered in the future

  26. Gregg Collins on February 21, 2023 at 12:20 pm

This video simply skipped over the enviromental damage caused by mining the materials to make the batteries. Also "forgot" to mentiont hat our electric grid cannot even come close to supplying power to charge even a small number of EVs. Ant then the people that want an EV in every garage are largely the same ones that do not want to build new power plants. An example is the current governor of California.

  27. Rudster14 on February 21, 2023 at 12:22 pm

Electric cars are actually more efficient than gas powered cars. For instance, a lot of the energy from gas is lost to heat in the engine while electric cars don’t have this issue

So let me get this straight you have. 1. Regular gasoline (aka petrol). 2. Diesel. 3. Biofuel (need more info). 4. Electric. 5. Hydrogen if im missing anymore please feel free to reply to this comment.

Praising going green is fine and everything, but besides costs, there might be more drawbacks than we anticipated when it was first tested. So who knows what could, everything is very unpredictable, similar to the stock market 📈
