I would like Volvos if they had a superior interior, and a functional electronics control system ( it only takes one time for the system to govern the truck to 45mph on a 65mph road to lose all confidence and desire to own/operate. If you want the truck to drive itself fine but if you want the driver to operate the machine then that means the driver is in control, it has to be one or the other and as a driver the first time you subjugate me to the machine I will say "it’s all yours now," good bye and good luck with that. Think about it, what kind of captain would allow his first mate to take control of the helm without bringing him up on charges of mutiny. Is the driver the captain of his ship or not? This is a very true and serious question and if you are not clear about what the correct answer is then you could be a good slave " truck driver" of the future.
The Tesla semi and the Volvo truck are my favorite trucks

Son muy buenos tracto camiones pero son muy calientes cuando ya no cuentan con aire acondicionado también pasá mucho calor del motor alá cabina también deberían colocar el escape más retirado de la cabina necesita unas ventanas más grandes pero son muy buenos camiones yo manejo un Volvo 2012 pero no tiene ventilación y sin aire acondicionado se pone como un horno no estaría nada mal ponerle ventanas más grandes alos lados y un mejor sistema de aire acondicionado

Automatic transmission is by far a very dangerous idea….u must think about this…a drivers life is in this truck…and it weighs 80,000 lbs…how would u feel about a electronic device making a decision that ultimately could put ur life in a compromising position…and possibly die…or kill some one else…STOP TRUSTING TECHNOLOGY WITH UR LIVES….

Detroit Diesel had turbo compounding first , it did not work well and did away with it . Volvo frame rails and air tanks begins rusting away as it rolls down the assembly line . Battery box and hold downs are a good feature . Lot Lizards love Volvo drivers .

They only show you how to up your bed up, but they don’t show you how to put it down
My 21 vnl does drive pretty nice but the fact that parts are literally falling off after 75k miles because of improper fitment and ineffective torque application to many of the nuts ,bolts and screws just says design is adequate but quality control is sorely lacking. I can’t wait to get my new Freightliner.

BTW the materials you guys use on the interior are stiff, cheap plastic. Please take a look at the European version and compare with this one and let us know what do you think.

Volvo drivers usually wear short-shorts , flip-flops or wrap-around cowboy hats . This truck is definitely not the mechanic’s dream truck to work on . Companies are able to take monkeys out of a zoo to drive these .
