Toyota CEO: “This New Engine Will Destroy The Entire EV Industry!”

Toyota is cooking up something new in their garage! And it’s not just any ordinary vehicle. We’re talking about a brand new, revolutionary hydrogen vehicle! So, you may have heard about the Mirai, the hydrogen-powered Toyota vehicle that uses fuel cells to generate electricity. But now, Toyota has come up with something completely different. They’re calling it the new hydrogen combustion engine.

In today’s video we look at Toyota CEO: “This New Engine Will Destroy The Entire EV Industry!”

I don’t envy EVs but if you look for a long-term solution, Hydrogen engines seem more realistic.

  5. @lightworkeight4136 on April 16, 2024 at 5:11 pm

More junk!! What comes out of the exhaust of this car is actually the fuel of the future…..water. The future of cars, indeed ALL transport, is Hydrogen but sourced directly from the dissociation of water immediately prior to combustion. These fuel cell cars are so tech intensive that they willl cost an arm and a leg, require a whole new infrastructure across the entire world, cannot be fueled at home, and still represent a fire/explosion risk in accidents…..water DOES NOT, can be fueled at home, requires no infrastructure, and is essentially free. It is also the highest density fuel on the planet. Fuel cells are a whole heap of engineering just to get us to pay for something that is already in …..water. We want simpler cheaper, quieter cars ….NOT H2 fuel cells. And don’t get me started on sound, I was trying to remember when sound was first invented!

Truth the Tesla before 100 years say this ,,,but mire 1 old profesor from Balkan make the mire easy simple end century long engine from Neodium generator end high pump oil source of energy for a centrifugal double clutch end gear box,,,,of cours in parking mode or anyvere this can be source of power or energy for anyting,,,no hawy end complikated parts no tank no fuel no noting gawy or trouble,,,end number of caroserie combination is many,,,plus the sound of engine is liw inaf to liesten the birds in forest near of rest place…Who Will first catch the match

You guys keep talking about filling stations and storage tanks, but that’s not what they’re doing. They have either re-created the filling station inside the car or they have unlocked a more advanced way of splitting water in hydrogen inside the car. So basically produced “on demand” so storage and the dangers of hydrogen explosion aren’t there. They could have a smaller heavy duty tank for some onboard storage but the danger of that may be very minimal. The other way they might be having a “water engine” is where water steam and hydrogen together making a compressed steam engine. Search “water car Japan” to see that one.

It’s complete vaporware being endorsed by someone that clearly has no idea how dangerous and impractical using hydrogen this way is. It will never see the light of day and I find it difficult to believe Toyota would seriously consider the idea

Sea water levels around the world are rising and threatening cities near the sea due to ice melt caused by global warming. Now we are discussing converting massive amounts of hydrogen into water, which will only speed up the process of flooding cities like Miami and New York City.

  26. @peenworm on April 16, 2024 at 5:45 pm

interesting that the only source of this quote is this video and dodgy blogs linking to it and there doesnt seem to be any keynote as suggested in the thumbnail. almost like this video is misleading somehow

8 minutes to cover about 2 minutes of content.

  28. @user-wv1pd5yz5x on April 16, 2024 at 5:46 pm

My understanding is that there is a very safe way of storing, transporting and retrieving, hydrogen from its storage container, that even if it was shot at it would not explode but burn like a cigarette.
I think it was called Medal Hydright or something like that. The video mentioned that the material used could only be manufactured through a process with a particle accelerator. What ever that is?
But due to patents and national laws its been squashed for public use. Its intent I believe for millitary and or NASA use.
I think it all depends on who controls, and has the most marbles, influence,
and whether its the Green religion or not .
A lot of smog and smeers i mean smoke and mirrors.

This is green energy user friendly expert’s have to find hydrogen generator that should very very easy no compaction to use v have to produce just enough to run engine optimization hydrogen should be just enough to run engine optimization car r any other vehicles no storage tank should be used only hydrogen generator very very small kit which should be useable anywhere v have to pour water and use

  45. @lcloon on April 16, 2024 at 6:03 pm

Dream on for the next 20yrs ya, ahahahaha…. as long as fossil fuel still in production and the crude oil price still can be able to manipulated around over & over again, you guys won’t able to see the introduction of hydrogen vehicles, in mass production!

  46. @striker44 on April 16, 2024 at 6:04 pm

How much energy and co2 emissions for producing hydrogen is conveniently left out.

  48. @beehappy7797 on April 16, 2024 at 6:06 pm

Using 3 Kw to produce 1 Kw is not smart. Who wants to pay three times more for the fuel than you pay with an electric car. Toyota is panicking because they are unable to make good electric cars. Bye bye Toyota.
