TOP 10 Reasons why JACKSON MISSISSIPPI is the WORST city in the US!

TOP 10 Reasons why JACKSON MISSISSIPPI is the WORST city in the US!

Jackson, Mississippi is a horrible place to live. Let us tell you why..

Jackson is the capital city of Mississippi. The statewide Mississippi Freedom Trail runs through the city, encompassing a number of historic sites that were significant in the civil rights movement. These include the Medgar Evers Home Museum and the landmark Mississippi State Capitol building. In leafy LeFleur’s Bluff State Park, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science includes an aquarium and nature trails.

#JACKSON #MISSISSIPPI #TOP10 I don’t know if you need to hear this, but:

These lists are not intended to be used for making life changing decisions. They are just another look at the city. I present both good and bad points of view on this channel. I don’t just make videos that are negative. There are positive videos on the channel too, check them out. They are made from statistical sources made available by government agencies as well as first hand resident experiences. If you are happy living here, I am happy for you. No need to send me death threats.

Jackson has been a victim of deliberate political neglect for decades, mainly from the state. The terrible conditions are seemingly desired by politicians who want to blame everything on the majority black population, who have been victimized by that neglect. Even federal money meant to improve conditions has been blocked by the state, and often redirected towards white-flight communities. Jackson needs help, not vilification.

The county will pay for busted tires from the potholes. Just find a pothole in hinds county take a picture with the busted tire and pothole get a receipt from dealer/repair guy stating they fixed the tire caused by a pothole.
I hate freaking Jackson. Not because all of the obvious reasons but because I’m from down south in god’s country and it’s a whole lot different. And this video is mainly just inside Jackson. Everybody knows to stay clear of the heart of Jackson. But there are better places like flowood, Brandon, Clinton.
And volcano?!?? Must be talking about the sewer systems, yea when it rains in Jackson don’t get caught walking anywhere. The sewers backup and it will just ruin your day.
Back when I was a kid late 80s early 90s it wasn’t that bad. People slowly moved out and the projects took over.

  28. laxatives are fun on March 9, 2023 at 2:51 pm

The rest of Mississippi looks at Jackson as that cousin that’s always going to jail or wants to borrow money all the time. Now people around here that don’t live in Jackson say the name Jackson with the same tone as a curse word or getting the runs. I wish it would burn to the ground and never be rebuilt. Rename it crapland. Even uttering the word Jackson should be taboo.

  29. Banka on March 9, 2023 at 2:53 pm

‘White Flight’ from the 1970s is complete BS reason for Jackson’s current water problems.
Their local and the Federal GOV has had 40 to 50 years to literally get their 💩 together and stop letting it flow through their water supply. Don’t blame White Flight when there’s been plenty of time and Federal monies to rebuild and improve water safety.
There’s simply NOT an excuse for the way Jackson’s residents are being treated.

  45. don'tBasucker!com on March 9, 2023 at 3:16 pm

I saw a video of Jackson the other day… they wanted me to go to Jackson for some tests from my doctor but after seeing what I saw? Nah I told him I want to go somewhere else for my test anywhere but Jackson

  48. Mark Preston on March 9, 2023 at 3:19 pm

The food is slop in Jackson. It’s like homemade fast food and it’s worse than fast food. The roads are rough and they beat the jalopy cars, so there are broken down cars with stranded motorists all over town and Interstates. There is a huge FBI office there, still investigating civil rights cases from decades ago and it is on a rural road near town that leads to a garbage dump. Smelly trash falls off the trucks near the FBI office.

Could the majority of this all be a snowball effect from the bad schooling, poor education, lack of jobs and a number of other socio-economic issues that then begin to creep up stemming from the former? I’d be willing to bet you can tell what part of the city you are in as well based on how well kept the CITY maintains things. If it one thing America is good at it is creating a problem, and then looking for the nearest brown population to blame it on, shrug its shoulders and say, "I-on’t-know". The evidence of why Jackson is the way it is, is written all through its history, and where it is heading as well. As soon as it becomes a majority colorless city, it will be the greatest place on God’s green earth. volcano or not. The video doesn’t confess to give the why, so this isn’t leveraged towards the video creator. If you follow the politics of the region though, you will see there is a larger and more long-term goals in motion here.
