I am so sad that this revolution hadn’t started back in the 60’s when I was young. The car-truck industry caught on to late I think….

  11. @mikel4879 on January 31, 2024 at 10:52 am

These are high prices, lower range, low sales !
Conclusion : these EV models are not good !

  29. @bigred8438 on January 31, 2024 at 11:08 am

Are you a Tesla Fan Boy. No matter you say about other vehicles you always come back to telsa or while talking about other vehicles you always compare them to teslas as though they are the gold standard? Where the fuck is that truck? It isn’t even in production so why didn’t you say we may not see this as a 2021 model, we may have to wait until 2022 or 23, like you did for the ford? I am certain we will see allv the model trucks you have mentioned plus some you haven’t from Chev, before the tesla truck.

  30. @nosbelolivera9913 on January 31, 2024 at 11:13 am

    Toyota Solid state

  31. @orlandovelastegui1391 on January 31, 2024 at 11:17 am

Tesla and the rest of those vehicles suck.

  32. @bertt72 on January 31, 2024 at 11:17 am

charge point type and availability etc-In UK – What is not mentioned is the paucity of RAPID chargers throughout the UK to combat "Range Anxiety." Recent BBC2 programme showed that it is not unusual to follow your charging app. directions to a site only to find the machine is broken or that only the slow charging 7kw units are available -so forget having a cup of tea whilst your EV is charging, – you might have to book an overnight room instead.Until you can charge your EV as readily ( and almost as quickly) as a visit to the many fuel stations that line your route to your destination, your are tied to your local area to avoid said ‘Range anxiety.’ Hopefully this situation may improve when Govt. and manufacturers realise that relying on private electrical suppliers is not the only option. I might be wrong but doesn’t Tesla build their own charging sites and include ‘Rapid Chargers?) The Shell station, at least , had a rapid charger. Will their be enough chargers ( RAPID) for flat and terrace house dwellers? How will Govt. recoup the lost tax income – well they could partner suppliers or lease/own their own charging sites? Lastly, maybe Hydrogen fuel will be the fuel of the future re- rapid filling etc.

  33. @macioluko9484 on January 31, 2024 at 11:17 am

Let’s just make something crystal clear: there are no Tesla Killers. Some of these efforts may become BMW, Mercedes or GM killers, but certainly not Tesla killers. Tesla’s biggest (quality) problem today? Satisfying the insane demand… with zero advertising. Keep in mind that Tesla is so much more than just a car company.

  34. @tsh5870 on January 31, 2024 at 11:19 am

Which one has autonomous driving as good as Tesla? This is the most important comparing feature for EV.

  35. @superdooper9200 on January 31, 2024 at 11:19 am

That’s the Prettiest truck I’ve ever seen! Lovely piece of technology 👍🏻

  36. @brettarogers144 on January 31, 2024 at 11:19 am

Is solar panels on cars still a viable concept or does the higher voltages of modern cars make it too difficult to work?

  37. @123321nba on January 31, 2024 at 11:22 am

It is not just electric motor. Its the data it gathers from all tesla vehicles to build a better future. Self driving cars are also possible because of of video records retrieved from tesla cars

    Waiting for #11 the Aptera $26K – $46K 230 to 1000 mile range solar recharge adds 30 – 40 miles on a sunny day.

Downvoting this because the title in my bookmark does not match the title when I play it, so it must have been changed since creation. This messes me up. Bad idea.

  41. @kayakerian on January 31, 2024 at 11:26 am

My vote goes to the one missing from this list: The Aptera!

  42. @keeplearning5590 on January 31, 2024 at 11:26 am

    What about Pravaig?

  43. @pihi42 on January 31, 2024 at 11:27 am

Please stop this "tesla-killer" meme. It is childish and absurd. As if the only thing on BMW’s mind is to kill Tesla .. They are just trying to SURVIVE, not kill anybody. Who knows what will survive EV-revolution and what will not (just look at aviation history and invention of jetliners), but of all companies I rank Tesla as having the highest chance of survival for the next 50 years. Perhaps some will survive in name only; most of the factories will be rebuild, re-shuffled. Design philosophies will change, money will change hands, CEOS will be born and die, suppliers will shift. Global economy will shift as we go off oil, wars will end and new wars will start. But none of this will kill Tesla, like nothing killed IBM or Microsoft. Tesla’s survival strategy is faaaaar more advanced than "just a car company". Their business is making sure the future happens like this year.

  44. @michaelgalea4386 on January 31, 2024 at 11:27 am

I am in love with my Jaguar i-Pace. After a lot of research, I chose it and driving it is sheer pleasure. That i-1p is bloody ugly. As is the BMW. YUK!!!!!. I am annoyed that you did not show the i-pace, which I think is the best in the world.

  45. @pihi42 on January 31, 2024 at 11:28 am

IF Cybertruck lives up to the specs AND can actually be produced, it will roll over everything else. Everything else is just butique production and can’t be taken seriously. Battery production is the limiting factor. Applications for Li-ion batteries are growing much faster than production. Who wants to have an EV that can’t be serviced or charged normally after 5 years? Everybody building their own charging networks is complete illusion not to mention wasteful until serious standards and agreements are in place. In the EU, at least we agreed on standard charging PLUG. But you still can’t charge everywhere unless it’s a Tesla.

  46. @yellowpeepkingsheets8148 on January 31, 2024 at 11:29 am

    That Tesla truck looks 🔥

  47. @igqfresh on January 31, 2024 at 11:30 am

Awesome 2021 EV coverage ! What are your thoughts on Toyota’s Solid State batteries with full recharge around 10 minutes????

  48. @stevecain9379 on January 31, 2024 at 11:31 am

Challenging Tesla is a misnomer, Tesla is currently number 3 or 4 in Europe in EV sales volume and is not number 1 in China the biggest ev market.

  49. @gormauslander on January 31, 2024 at 11:32 am

    Bring it on

  50. @litestuffllc7249 on January 31, 2024 at 11:32 am

Yes; I love new cars that have no prototype; no factory, no workers; nothing but hype treated like they are real. You guys need to get your virtual rose tinted glasses off.
