Travel between CA and NV. So charging is very important. So, MYP.

    No XC40 recharge?

  3. Same to you on November 11, 2022 at 12:33 pm

We sold M3 & MY and purchased IONIQ 5 & EV6 (both AWD) and it’s the best decision we made.

We were happy when we got Teslas but we were happiest when we got rid of that POS. I mean it’s a POS for the price tag and build quality and the driving experience. Never buying another another Tesla. I love Model S but it wasn’t just worth of money. Hello Lucid Air!! Tesla is jealous of you!!

The definition of small is so warped in the US car world.

In this comparison Ioniq5 won in all aspect!….Car of the year and EV car of the year winner!….

Something that isn’t talked about much. Battery replacement cost and dealer experience. Who wants to deal with Hyundai dealer experience?

Why is this man basing his Uber tip on how big the car is. If you don’t fit, that’s on you. Order Uber XL.

Best bet I Canada is Mach e select if you want government rebate, and now they removed comfort package in select… everything else besides Tesla will have 2-5 yrs wait time.

    Ioniq 5 “pretty good steering”?
    Model Y “great steering”?
Are you saying that Q4 e-tron & ID.4 got even less steering feel?

  19. KimJongWins on November 11, 2022 at 12:54 pm

The Mach E is considered small?

  20. Chris on November 11, 2022 at 12:56 pm

Great review thank you I’m leaning toward the mustang

  21. AppleRider on November 11, 2022 at 12:58 pm

    Kia ev6 👍👍👍

  22. Welfi on November 11, 2022 at 12:58 pm

Pricing is very dependant on your location. Yes, base price may be lower fir most of them.

But if you want an ID.4 that’s somewhat comparable in power and equipment with a TMY LRAWD, you need to go with a maxed out ID.4 GTX. And then you are at a higher price than the Tesla (in my country at least).

That said there is now the 49 990€ SR RWD Model Y.

  23. Dominique McKenzie on November 11, 2022 at 12:59 pm

Price goes up because of inflation

  24. tyman OT on November 11, 2022 at 12:59 pm

We Love our Skoda Enyaq. No better family EV existing in my eyes. In daily driving here in Germany there is no need for massiv horse power and super charging speed. Ease of use, trunk space and turn cycle are just super. No software issue in our car so far. Have ordered the next Enyaq already.

  25. Thiswillnotendwell on November 11, 2022 at 1:02 pm

Imagine buying a subpar product because of your political distaste for someone fed by misleading media bias.

  26. Nute Calu on November 11, 2022 at 1:04 pm

I think Ioniq 5 is the best car of the 6

  27. Alex W on November 11, 2022 at 1:06 pm

Wow, tastes are sooooo different. I guess that is a good thing overall, since otherwise we’d all the driving the same cars. Honestly have not seen an uglier car than the Ioniq 5, inside and outside, in a long time. Love the EV6 though.

  28. Haroldo Ortiz on November 11, 2022 at 1:06 pm

Tesla model Y assembly/finish is not as good. Poor quality control. Many uneven panels match. Good software and 0-60 good numbers, that’s about it.

  29. OFB on November 11, 2022 at 1:06 pm

Hands down #1 EV channel on YouTube!

  30. Michael Bodner on November 11, 2022 at 1:07 pm

I have and love the e-tron. We just test drove the Q4 e-tron yesterday for my wife. What a horrible car. A total disappointment. From missing features and zero luxury with a price tag that is way too high for what you get.

  31. HydraliskX on November 11, 2022 at 1:08 pm

Don’t downplay the lack of dash/HUD on the Model Y. HUDs are game changers. Owning both an Ioniq 5 and Model Y, it’s night and day for the driver’s experience. Highly recommend test driving and forming your own opinion.

  32. Cody on November 11, 2022 at 1:09 pm

@45:10 old man boomer saying he won’t tip the Uber driver 🤡🤡🤡

  35. Coach Kim on November 11, 2022 at 1:12 pm

Terrific info – thank you. Enjoyed father son tag team too.

  36. Michael Martinez on November 11, 2022 at 1:14 pm

But like Elon Musk, Tesla is lying about their range. Real world range on Telsa is 270 miles. It is par with Hyundai and Kia, and the Ford Mach E really kills it. Tesla is amazing as it used to be.

  37. Robert Stoddard on November 11, 2022 at 1:14 pm

The "weak link" for Tesla is with repair. There are entire US states with no service centers, so you’re looking for long tows if something goes amiss.

  38. Jarred Sutherland on November 11, 2022 at 1:15 pm

Your dad may not think USB-C is important, but for a 2022 car, it is a major swing and miss for that aspect. Yes, you can buy an adapter, but for a car that is made in 2022 that shouldn’t be a requirement. Having an adapter is another point of irritation while driving a car.

  39. BOHHMANN Media on November 11, 2022 at 1:16 pm

Sounds like you’re a Q4 hater for no reason. Lame.

  40. Eliseo Negrin on November 11, 2022 at 1:17 pm

Why have a 6’5 person to test the interior ? it’s not very practical , someone in the range of 5’5 to 6’2 is more practical

  41. Robert Coffey on November 11, 2022 at 1:17 pm

The Model Y is still the tall sedan to beat. A shame about the significant price bump. In all honesty, though, the Model Y offers you such a streamlined ownership experience compared to the other offerings that it puts them to shame. If you leave the navigation window open, as you likely will, it’ll alert you when your charge drops somewhat low and will recommend navigating you to a supercharger station. It’s just so convenient to run. On top of that, when riding with my friend who owns a Model 3, I’ve never experienced it taking more than 45 minutes to reach at least 80% charge, even with the long-range battery pack. On top of that, Tesla seems rather fond of putting Superchargers in the edges and corners of shopping centers when possible, so many times you’ll be able to walk over to a Target or other store and get a beverage and walk around for a bit while it charges. Hopefully Sheetz will make stations with banks of EV chargers instead of the one or two charging points that they usually have for their newer locations. Sheetz and other full-service gas station convenience stores would be really nice to charge at since you can stop in to eat or get a beverage while you wait for your car to charge.

This was by far my favorite video that you guys have produced. I’m sure thousands of people will make a buying decision based on this content. Excellent job!

  43. Hector G on November 11, 2022 at 1:18 pm

Your pops not giving the YUBER driver a tip based on his abnormal height 🤦‍♂️

  44. HydraliskX on November 11, 2022 at 1:21 pm

Tesla on average wins on charging – but it does not win ‘every time’. The faster eGMP cars will often win just based on charging speed even if the overall network isn’t as expansive. I own both an Ioniq 5 and Model Y. There are many trips where the Ioniq 5 is the better choice. Preconditioning on the MY is great, but a cold Ioniq 5 is still faster than a preconditioned MY.

  45. EV Lineup on November 11, 2022 at 1:21 pm

    “You can talk” 🤣🤣🤣

  46. Al M on November 11, 2022 at 1:24 pm

RANGE— The story is a little simpler and more meaningful than he presents here. The EPA range for all the cars is determined by traveling on a flat road with no wind at 55. Everything you change from that noticeably drops your range down as you’re driving — when you hit a hill, when you accelerate to pass or if you hit a headwind range noticeably goes down. It’s a simple as that. I don’t know why he missed that but I hope he adopts this simple two sentence presentation!

    Biggest EV BSr there is.

  49. U.S. Grant on November 11, 2022 at 1:28 pm

All these cars are not SUVs, they are slightly larger hatchbacks. We still haven’t seen any mid- or full-size SUVs that people actually prefer.

  50. Gabriel Gutierrez on November 11, 2022 at 1:29 pm

Great video! Would be nice though if you added some text on screen just reiterating prices and other stuff you talk about. I find myself rewinding a lot and just being able to read the information at a glance would improve the watch experience
