Is it possible that I can drive limousine cdl class c after passing written exam? My dad has nissan nv200 cargo van nyc taxi driver it’s still allowed for cdl class c right.
So if i am asked to pull a large trailer [portable grand stand] with a small 5000 pound pickup like we do, we need a class a? The grand stand is well over 10,000 pounds and requires at least a one ton according to the sticker posted. Yes it has brakes, and over 60 feet in length.

If I’m understand this correctly. I can drive a dump truck loaded 16 tons pulling a trailer under 10000 pounds loaded with a class b ? I’ve heard this scenario both ways. Even asked at the weight station and was told they get back to me which they didn’t. Not that it would be likely to fined that small of a trailer being cost effective, or even if one existed.
So if I get a class A with passenger endorsement I could drive any class B vehicle? I really want to have other options but still would like to get passenger endorsement and s endorsement

You can drive a bus on a Class A CDL as long as you have the proper endorsements on your Class A so can you clarify

He left out the S endorsement, which is for school buses, in order to drive a school bus u need to class B with P & S (passenger and school) endorsement, not just P

Hello, I’m based in FL and I want to get my class B driver license for being able to drive a dump truck and deliver loads of dirt to job sites.
I’m researching what I need to do and Class B seems to fit what I need. I know I will also need to get a truck that’s able to pull a lot of weight. So I’m thinking two options here.
Get a truck with a dump truck trailer or a dump truck.
Not sure which one to go for though.
And then I have to figure out if I want a new truck and make payments on it without worrying about too much maintenance or a used truck.
What are your recommendations?

I work for UPS. I’m a part time package handler. My long term goal is to become a Tuesday through Saturday swing package car driver for at least a year, spend the next year as a Monday through Friday regular package car driver, and then go from the package car to the 26 foot box truck. So because UPS drivers are the highest paid drivers in the trucking industry, I’ll be driving a box truck with a class b CDL license while making a good amount of money 💰💵💸🤑. And yes, I’ll be home every night with my family and friends!

"OKAY for non CDL… if your truck, trailer and load is under 26000 lbs you dont need a CDL no matter what the GVWR on the trailer, as long as your under 26000 lbs combined weight !
So if your dually’s CURB WEIGHT: 7,197 lbs. and your trailers curb Weight: 6740.00,
then you have a distributed load capacity of 12063 lbs even though the trailers GVWR is 25000 lbs. and your trucks GVWR is 10700 lbs !

Know a guy whose a garbage man in CA. Works 16+hr days and and gets close to 5k every 2weeks. That’s what I’ll shoot for- class b. Just need to start studying for the permet test.
