The exact part can cost a lot more in some cases. Sometimes you can substitute one from another year or model and save a lot. You have to know what you are doing to do that.
Scootty I found this 2018 4runner limited edition for $34k with 39k miles on it should I get it or it’s high price?
Thank you
The US Army has a hovercraft unit down in Australia. I think it’s on water though.
Rock auto is the best
I have a 2015 Ford Fusion 2.5 NA with 106k miles. I bought it with 40k miles on it. I haven’t done a drain and fill in the transmission. Should I do this? It drives fine, but occasionally shifts hard 2-3rd.
You didn’t say where to get the parts from😵
Buying from dealerships pretty much insures you will pay maximum marked up price, though sometimes they or a wrecking yard are the only place to find something obscure.
Why is it that when it says 80 online then when I go in the store it says 300 and I always end up with a guy at the counter who has no clue
Is it ok to buy auto parts like rotors on eBay?
Rock auto ?
I need to buy a new bumper cover for my 2004 Honda Accord. I’ve watched videos and see it’s extremely easy to install. I don’t see car body parts on autozone.
I’m in Quebec province and we do have Napa but also lot of other banners. My commercial account was opened at Uni-Select and I save up to 60% on some parts. The guy behind the counter who opened my account was with me at mechanic school.

Auto Zone is the worst place on the planet to get parts most of all people that work there could not find the restroom
Napa has way better staff. Every time I go to autozone nothing but kids that don’t know what the hell their doing.
Richard Dawkins doing cars now lol
That ram TRX was literally sent over a creek by a some guy the raptor jump was done by a professional stunt team and driver so it’s not a fair to compare the two
O’REILLY’S ALL DAY✌
Yeah right manority of these places CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS MAJOR EGG PLANT, I know they happy 2 work there but thats there fault. 😂 Is ok
Auto Zone sucks, I went in to auto zone to get a front hub bearing and I kept checking to see if the part was in. and three weeks later the part still wasn’t there so I finally said forget it and went somewhere else to get it. when you work on cars for people you can’t make your customers wait that long to get their car back. it’s one of the reasons why I have so many happy customers that return again and again to have me work on their cars. I would even prefer to deal with O’Reilly’s if I have to although a person has to watch out with those places when it comes to their remanufactured parts. I got a starter at O’Reilly’s for a Ford pickup and just didn’t seem like it would crank over good. so after thoroughly checking everything I returned it and went to Napa Auto parts. and that starter flat zings that engine over. so it does make a difference where a person buys auto parts. and the internet is not the best place to buy auto parts because a person has to wait for the parts to be shipped. you can’t do that when you’re working on a customer’s car. and you don’t know for sure what you’re getting until it arrives and there’s to much Chinese garbage. you can bet on it I’m not going to loose good customers because of parts issues.
When LEASING a vehicle.
And you’re involve in a collision, those the dealer require for (OEM) original equipment manufacturer from your insurance, and can NOT use aftermarket parts???
– Los Angeles, CA
The local GM dealer won’t reveal part numbers in case you want to research the item yourself.
Me going to the dealer for part: We have to order it
Me Going to NAPA down the street from the dealer: Yup we have it
If you’re getting your parts anywhere other than Rock Auto you’re wasting money. They only time you should get from a Az, Napa, or any other parts store is when it’s an emergency and you can’t plan ahead to order the parts
Been thinking about completely Sinking My companies stock. Any advice? 😎
I do use Auto Zone and also Rock Auto. I have to check the Auto software I have on my computer, it might be all data.
A Dodge Charger jumped a ramp 325 times and was still able to out run Boss Hog.
YES SIR! Its been a life saver with my police interceptor specially with the wire diagrams. it actually has all the specs for the radios, etc…. Don’t know what i’d do with out it and surprisingly everyone i’ve mentioned it to hasn’t heard of it. 🤷🏼♂️
The best place to buy parts for ME is where I used to work.
I’m VETTED for life. Ha!
For a laugh, reduce the playback speed to .75. Enjoy all your video’s Scotty! Thanks
Why? Auto Zone parts suck.
Scotty, You have a Triumph Motor Bike, why do you like them?
2:36 Millennial anti theft device Hahahaha

A while back scotty had a video that was if you shop at autozone your stupid
Wtf lol
Scotty good day; I have had a negative impression of the Toyota Yaris
But I was advised the 2021 Toyota Yards GR was some car ideal for Canada as its has 4 wheel drive but it has 3 Cylinder turbo charged 1 .6 Litre 3 Cylinder engine but I was told to only get the upgraded model … your thoughts I was considering the Forte, Elantra, Civic R or loaded with heated seats for my daughters going to law school
Your thoughts on value & your reasons
With Autozone using the same data as Alldata, why doesn’t Autozone ask for the VIN when ordering parts?
Good video, we are plastic crate manufacturer in China, our crates are good for auto parts package.
what does Scotty think of Napa? ~they never failed yet to have the part in stock unless a dealer only item even for older rigs. right there, all set.
This is funny to me. Cuz I hate autozone. I won’t go there unless I have to. They have given me the wrong part many times. And its been a headache. Advanced auto has never given me a wrong part. At least not yet anyways…
Lol he’s talking about streetspeed717
Please make a video on synthetic fuel‼️
Napa bcuz of the discounts
Your great attitude makes my day. Thanks Scotty 👍
👍👍
Rev up your engines!
Hey Scotty, I’m looking at a 2017 Kia Sorento with 90k miles, should I buy it or is there a problem with this year?
O’reilly is pure crap. All their employees suck too. Never fails.
"Rub up your engines!!"
Hi scotty what is a good place to buy car parts.
