I believe the larger vehicle is a fleet vehicle for the service industry, plumbers, HVAC, electrical contractors, parts delivery, etc.

+ 100 million Teslas: Easy. Wright’s Law. 2.5 billion cars to be replaced….+ All other ICE vehicles!!! GARGANTUAN growth ahead!!

  4. @MessiahAI on June 16, 2024 at 9:28 pm

I’m surprised no one talks about the advertising potential within the robotaxi.

You have 2 million rolling billboards. They have the opportunity to rent out ads on their in-cabin entertainment screens similar to ads playing in airplanes.

Think about how much McDonald’s would pay to have an ad playing in 2 million cars where you just need to push a button to reroute to the nearest McDonald drive-thru.

The local and national ad revenue potential is tremendous. Why doesn’t anyone talk about this?

Even if the focus is on entertainment, at least charge a dollar to play a game or charge a monthly subscription to be able to play games or watch what you want while riding. Otherwise, advertising is the default.

  5. @hansh2463 on June 16, 2024 at 9:32 pm

Maybe the robot taxi will first appear in the boring tunnels..

In 2014 Apples market cap was 458 bill. It was the biggest company in the world and has 8 x’d from there. If that happened again it would be worth 30 trillion in 2034. No reason to think it is impossible for Tesla with excellent execution.

A good question to have asked Elon would have been: do you use the same self-driving logic when driving in reverse? If he answered ‘yes’ then a car driven down a one way street or whatever can always safely reverse back up the road. No need to remote in to manually drive the car.

  9. @georgelee8208 on June 16, 2024 at 9:36 pm

Longtime shareholder and owner of multiple Tesla vehicles, but this is all cap.

The latest London taxi model, the LEVC TX, which is an electric taxi, typically costs around £55,000 to £65,000. Yes, Cybercab will be a premium vehicle, every body loves to ride! Its design will be revolutionary for taxi riding, safe, comfort, style, and luxury.

  11. @Haliotro on June 16, 2024 at 9:40 pm

I’d say robotaxi being *small* isn’t about it being cheap. It’s about ease of manufacturing for mass scale

  12. @danbryda3849 on June 16, 2024 at 9:40 pm

I’m thinking 30T is end game, like before he retires or exits Tesla. Years and jets and years and years from now.

  13. @thejose24 on June 16, 2024 at 9:41 pm

Good point Herbert on the cybercab (van), it does make a lot of sense. Why would Tesla necessarily start nickel and diming a vehicle that’s exclusively for ride hailing, that they own? Cool, I think you might be right.

  14. @sparkyvacdr on June 16, 2024 at 9:42 pm

X-phone with emergency app that in the rare instance an occupant manoeuvres the vehicle out of the situation manually. Seriously, ICE vehicles get stuck and it’s not a reason to ban them or not have them

  15. @geniegogo on June 16, 2024 at 9:42 pm

I agree with Herbert on this. I’ve always said "If" people consider the small car under tarp is real then they should consider the "van" under tarp is real too. I agree that you don’t want a small car as robo-cab. It’s antithesis to the whole pay to ride thing. You don’t want to get in a cramped car when you’re not the one driving. The positive engagement seen in robo-rides is from groups of people. They can talk to each other and and joke around while none of them are responsible or driving. This is a very different experience from what people imagine a single individual squeezing into a tiny cab.

  16. @elios633 on June 16, 2024 at 9:43 pm

    Clickbait

  17. @MegaDrew1977 on June 16, 2024 at 9:44 pm

A larger RoboTaxi makes sense. But haven’t all the teaser images, like from the Walter Issacson biography, shown a compact design?

  18. @downingforgetom on June 16, 2024 at 9:45 pm

You missed it. The biggest thing Elon said is: Tesla is not starting a new chapter, but a new book!

  19. @vimalk4 on June 16, 2024 at 9:46 pm

Look at that picture in terms of volume of cars. Robotaxi and compact being high volume all the way to the right, which will lead to roadster which will have low volume

Have to disagree with Herbert regarding the van… We need a transport van, I see a Ford Transit version done by Tesla as this is a segment Tesla doesnt have yet, this doesnt mean there couldnt be a version for th cybertaxi with many seats and so on, but not only for a cab. Segments matter🙏

  22. @CrankyTim on June 16, 2024 at 9:50 pm

Elon said that the hardest part is to tell which build of FSD is better. So if the next build is 10x better it should be easy to tell.

  23. @h-sunny9918 on June 16, 2024 at 9:50 pm

Show me $300 tsla first before go to $30T 😜

  24. @andrewpaulhart on June 16, 2024 at 9:50 pm

It strikes me that a lot of the annoyances that people feel with FSD is because they are still in the frame of mind that they are driving. I doubt that they would feel annoyed in the same way if a taxi driver exhibited these behaviours.

  25. @nossiplays on June 16, 2024 at 9:51 pm

The three products hiding under the curtains are cab, van, sports car.

  26. @toby-xo6rb on June 16, 2024 at 9:54 pm

    $TSLA: 10x in 5 + 5x in 10 = 50x in 15.

  27. @danbryda3849 on June 16, 2024 at 9:55 pm

They have figured out the alleyway issue. They will notify the fleet to reroute at least so others don’t get stuck down the road.

  28. @luke8837 on June 16, 2024 at 9:55 pm

We been saying this for 3 years

  29. @sizzlestreet9562 on June 16, 2024 at 9:56 pm

China, China, China! There’s 800 cities each with over 1 million citizens, plus their fatalities are like 500k per year. China wants this bad, and even a non-perfect robotaxi network in China is okay.

  30. @williamwoo866 on June 16, 2024 at 9:57 pm

So based on common sense if a car get stuck at the end of a street, a freeway might be more dangerous, the Robotaxi can just remap the position up to the point of obstruction. Then go back to a different plan. If plan A. was bad then use plan B. I think the Robotaxi stuck on alleys can easily be resolved.

  31. @fraserlawson969 on June 16, 2024 at 9:58 pm

I think ELon’s hesitance on the question of stuck vehicles was not because they havn’t thought about it yet, it is for political reasons, many on the right/libertarians are against EVs precisely because they fear them being able to be remote controlled by a third party rather than have full freedom in a gas car that’s off grid. Those who think this may be paranoid/over reacting, idk. But I think Elon is slightly uncomfortable with the idea of it himself, hence the hesitation and the quick quiet response.

  32. @franklangrell5824 on June 16, 2024 at 10:00 pm

If the car is stuck it could be easily guided out by passengers.

  33. @mukey on June 16, 2024 at 10:01 pm

ARK Invest and Cathy and her mary gang have no credibility at this point. Elon using them to push his narrative is disappointing.

  34. @patricelavigne7190 on June 16, 2024 at 10:02 pm

You tell yourself crazy stories, you believe them and you try to make everyone believe them. Tesla stock will move higher the day their profits will increase, period. As long as profits go down, the stock price will also go down. Simple as that.

  35. @igneousc on June 16, 2024 at 10:05 pm

so many people searching for new revenue streams when this company continues to have slowing rev. growth, shrinking margins, and questionable profit sources

  36. @barnibizer on June 16, 2024 at 10:05 pm

  37. @amirouchethelionofnumidia7092 on June 16, 2024 at 10:05 pm

Breaking news everywhere everyday but my TSLA Portfolio is down? Why?

  38. @peteosceola8267 on June 16, 2024 at 10:06 pm

Cars could be roadster, small vehicle Highlander and minivan but I like the idea of that being a RollsRoyce type vehicle

  39. @Anx3lx on June 16, 2024 at 10:06 pm

Selling all my shares after seeing a reddit comment that informed me that Elon isn’t actually smart. He employs smart people to do all the work and he is actually a moron because he’s no good at public speaking and has political views that almost nobody on reddit agrees with.

Another reddit comment got over a thousand likes for saying that cybertruck is really lame. A thousand likes people. What more proof do you need that nobody will ever buy cybertruck?!1

  40. @karltownsend7838 on June 16, 2024 at 10:07 pm

Autonomous Semis will be a massive game changer. The cost to ship goods becomes so cheap without paying 50k plus for a driver

  41. @benjamine6703 on June 16, 2024 at 10:07 pm

What does 10x better even mean? Good reasonable comments otherwise. Thanks.

  42. @stephendavidrathburn8952 on June 16, 2024 at 10:07 pm

Yeah Yeah yeah " about to explode " how many times have we heard that!!! Every time Tesla announces great news the stock goes down. Elon has too many enemies. "ABOUT TO EXPLODE" Your thumbnails are absolute CLICK BAIT!!

  43. @brave3630 on June 16, 2024 at 10:08 pm

I stongly disagree with Herbert on the robotaxi. I’m convinced it will be a 2-seater. Elon talks all the time that affordability is the key issue dampening Tesla’s demand. Having a 2-seater makes it a lot less costly to manufacture, and it is lighter! Being lighter means it needs less batteries, which further enhance its affordability. Being lighter also reduce its energy cost, further enhancing its affordability.

For the people wanting 3-5 seats, Tesla already has the models 3 for them!! Tesla doesn’t need another 4-seater car, the model 3 is already great. By the way, you’re gonna be able to have MORE legroom being a 2-seater than with a 4-seater. You don’t have to have a limousine to be successful with robotaxi, the cybercab will be 100X more convenient and comfy than any public transport you can imagine. And if they undercut Uber in regards to price, it’s game over. That’s the masterplan.

  44. @tintonenahead on June 16, 2024 at 10:08 pm

Screw the five year forecast! I’m 79 years old. When will I be able to take delivery of a regular non-founders cyber truck and when will I get my hands off the steering wheel when I’m using FSD!

  45. @davidwill1320 on June 16, 2024 at 10:10 pm

Why is there even a need to control the car (Cybercab) remotely when we now know the passengers will be able to communicate verbally with the car? If the car gets stuck the passenger can simply tell it what to do…such as, "make a U turn and use an alternate route".

  46. @karltownsend7838 on June 16, 2024 at 10:15 pm

140k people working at Tesla and then bots start working aswell. I think robotaxi is small 2 seater. Tesla owners can let theirs make up the need for 2+ fairs. Thats my guess

  47. @hans-martinadorf3834 on June 16, 2024 at 10:22 pm

Have you forgotten the new Roadster? What makes you think that none of the two wrapped low-height cars could be the Roadster?

  48. @ClayArnall on June 16, 2024 at 10:22 pm

    Good thoughts in this one!

  49. @williamwoo866 on June 16, 2024 at 10:23 pm

Even race car drivers over do it on the race track. I was taught by Bob Bondurant a famous teacher for many Formula 1 drivers like AJ Foyt and he taught me that when your car begins to go out of control, don’t panic but back off on what caused the problem in the first plance and most likely the car will stabilize. Yes I was a road racer involving car against car and people paid to watch me race. These classes back in 1978 cost me $3,000.00 for a 2 day class. The classes might seem expensive but if you can save your car from an accident then that good practice to take these classes.

  50. @trina2100 on June 16, 2024 at 10:24 pm

One thing about this channel, you won’t let me get bearish on Tesla. After almost every video I reconsider adding more to my Tesla position. It’s so risky to go all in on one company but man how I want to. I just can’t see how Tesla would fumble so many great opportunities and we really only need one to come to fruition. I also don’t see another company with this much promise. I’m so close to just lumping in and ignoring it for 5-10 years.
