After a year and a half hiatus, the Radwood car show is back! Radwood is a period-correct celebration of all things radical and fresh from the 1980s and 1990s. Let’s choose one of the ’80s/’90s cars from my fleet and take a 350 mile road trip up to the 2021 Radwood Norcal show!

The show was jam packed with all sorts of iconic machines, as well as forgotten obscurities. One of the great things about Radwood is its inclusive nature—a pristine Porsche 993 can be parked right next to a Nissan Stanza, and people are equally excited to see both. Always great to talk to everyone and hear the stories behind their cars. Come join me and get raddddddd!

    9:56 the Rodeo was also sold down under as a Holden Rodeo, how just one car can go under so many names ;-;

  2. David Jensen on February 17, 2023 at 1:47 pm

So many absolutely awesome cars. I would be like a kid in a candy store. You & I have the same taste in 80s & 90s cars, Ethan. 😊

Great video!! The Turbo Grand Prix most likely just needs the Brake Accumulator replaced. Usually the notorious culprit. Good news Cardone has started to rebuild the abs so you can probably call them and get an Accumulator. You can get them on ebay too and probably other places now. Used to be Ebay was the only place.

Can’t wait for a Probe update video. “So Broken” doesn’t sound good.

  7. 67tomcat on February 17, 2023 at 1:55 pm

That Stanza is awesome! They sold many many more than 10-15K/year. And the Caravan with the 5 spd. is super cool as well.

I loved the cavalier RS world have been nice to see a Pontiac 6000 STE a car off the A-body platform but no one really saves them and I know there’s people that do because they know what it is and there the people I appreciate because the 6000 STE was the America performance sedan of the 80’s

  20. PRN_TestDrive on February 17, 2023 at 2:12 pm

The W126 Mercedes S-Class at 4:03 looked familiar, tried to pause it during the microsecond it was on screen. I don’t think it’s the one I was thinking of.

  21. Jesus Ramirez on February 17, 2023 at 2:13 pm

So…many…cumworthy cars. Beautiful specimens. Loved the Cavalier (I’m an 80s and early 90s GM enthusiast. Hey, somebody’s gotta show their cheap crap some love ❤️)

I currently drive a ’91 Reatta with 17k miles purchased from a dealer collection. So beautiful. Like new. Black exterior with shale interior. I was born in ’90. I would love to attend a radwood event ❤️🤤

  25. Grünkohlaktionär on February 17, 2023 at 2:20 pm

I’d love to see a Mitsubishi Galant e50 on your channel. These are so rare and rad

  26. Beetle Boys on February 17, 2023 at 2:21 pm

  28. Grumpy GenX’er on February 17, 2023 at 2:24 pm

I’ve owned 3 of the cars shown. 80’s MR2, Cavalier RS and 91 CRX. It would have been nice to see a surviving Beretta GT and Mazda MX3.

  29. Tony's Diecast Customs on February 17, 2023 at 2:26 pm

  34. Drive DB7 on February 17, 2023 at 2:33 pm

Do you remember which song you used during the “Rad Montage” at 16:37?

  35. Kevan Mccaffrey on February 17, 2023 at 2:33 pm

All these ads to endure for these cars ? Go to a proper 80s show. Hot’hatches were the 80s mostly, probes were never liked ever. Leave the MC hammer pants at home.

  36. OhYeahAboutThat on February 17, 2023 at 2:34 pm

Looking forward to seeing you again at Radwood SoCal!

  37. chrisgreen67 on February 17, 2023 at 2:35 pm

  38. Chris Dooley on February 17, 2023 at 2:35 pm

Love seeing these cars. I graduated high school in 89 and these were my era of vehicles. I love the Nova but I gotta say that Fiat convertible was super Rad lol!

  39. Matt on February 17, 2023 at 2:37 pm

Dude. You’re channel is lit. Love the 80’s and 90’s cars. Love you being a doof in the silly outfits at the show.

  40. yeungkawo on February 17, 2023 at 2:37 pm

Your NOVA was my dream one when in college 😄

  41. John on February 17, 2023 at 2:39 pm

Ethan, "excellent" work on this video! Your Nova Twin Cam is only about 3 or 4 cars there that I lust after!

  42. It'syeeOLEDskoolFurry on February 17, 2023 at 2:41 pm

Thanks for using the RETRO (LoL?) 1080p resolution instead of 4K. ^u^ 9:00-9:40 Literally the MOST complicated way to describe a SIMPLE manual transmission. LMFAO. (NO NOT the music group.)

  43. DragPakMerc on February 17, 2023 at 2:42 pm

Bubbleback McLaren Capri behind the Ritmo! One of my bucket list cars. Thanks for taking us along to the show. I’d love to attend but a 3700 mile road trip isn’t realistic for me right now. Maybe one day. In the meantime, thanks for the video.

  44. BAD TV - Hosted by Fashion OG on February 17, 2023 at 2:42 pm

my best friend in HS drove that same short body NOVA ….same color too..I had a 86 Audi quattro coupe

  45. Mitch Webb on February 17, 2023 at 2:43 pm

What happened to the 944? Would have been the perfect car!

  46. Anak Pantai on February 17, 2023 at 2:43 pm

Even slowing the video down to 25% didn’t give me enuff time to see all those dope cars!

  47. Dave Cartwright on February 17, 2023 at 2:43 pm

I had an 87 Cavalier RS Convertible that I bought in 98 or 99. It ended up getting stolen, trashed, and totaled AFTER my insurance should have totaled when someone slashed the top and smashed up the dash trying to get the stupid factory radio out of it.

Thought you have to have a permit to have a junkyard in your neighborhood

  49. Kiley Staats on February 17, 2023 at 2:44 pm

Awesome video as always. I moved from my Probe GT to a Saab 9-5. I’d love to see a Saab on the channel too.

  50. Jeffery Smith on February 17, 2023 at 2:44 pm

Oh man. So many cars shown that I have history with. My wife and I bought a 1993 Rodeo just before we got married. It was a great car that lasted a long time. I had a friend of a friend that bought a similar Stanza in 1989 after his newly acquired Fiero caught fire. I got to drive it once. So much blue velour! I spotted a white gen 2 RX7 in the background. I got to drive my mom’s roommate’s brand new white ‘87 RX7 for a few days while on a summer visit (sadly a automatic) but I still fell in love with it driving around blasting Crowded House on the cassette player. Good memories. Thanks for the video.
