Ryan: Auto industry bailout was no success story

Campaigning in Racine, Wis., on Wednesday, Republican VP nominee Paul Ryan hit back at Vice President Joe Biden, who earlier in the day attacked the GOP ticket for promulgating an “outrageous lie” about Chrysler and GM shipping jobs to China. Ryan argued President Obama’s auto industry bailout was not the “unqualified success story” he and Biden are “touting” on the trail.

All obamas bailout did was save wages and benefits for the CURRENT UNION employees. Salaried workers and retirees lost all. And then they went into bankruptcy anyway at which point non union employees and retirees lost all! And starting wages for all new hires union or not are much lower than before. All Obama did was guarantee support from union officials!! All a thinly veiled trick!!
