Persona 5 Guide – Analysis of Best Accessories in Persona 5
Persona 5 Guide – Analysis of Best Accessories in Persona 5
I will probably do a livestream in a couple hours (around 15 gmt+1)
Everybody knows about the best or strongest accessories in Persona 5, but here is my Persona 5 Guide on the Best Accessories in the game xD
Twitter: https://twitter.com/sephizack_yt
Twitch: https://twitch.tv/sephizack2
Reason why I didn’t make this video before is because I thought it would be trivial and people wouldn’t be interested, but this request has appeared many times in the comment section.
I will probably make a video on my endgame persona setup (even though I don’t exactly have one xD)
TL;DW
If you don’t care about min maxing and having the best of the best, you can just buy SP Adhesive 3 at the beginning of the game and use it for the rest of your life. Having SP Regen will greatly help you complete palaces in 1 day and it’s the accessory I used in my first playthrough and most of my NG+ playthrough.
Crystal Skull is the accessory I currently use (obtained by itemizing Crystal Skull, the level 50 Treasure Demon, so only available after 7th Palace). It highly increases magic evasion and increases all stats by +5. I like it because I like evasion and because it makes min maxing personas easier as I only have to increase stats up to 89 instead of 94.
Divine Pillar is dropped by the Reaper and halves all damage received while nullifying your evasion. It stacks with the passive skill Firm Stance so that you only take 25% of damage. When taking into account average damage received, Divine Pillar + Firm Stance is probably better than Ali Dance + Divine Grace as Divine Grace doesn’t work on phys/gun/almighty attacks. The difference won’t be that big though. If you fight against reaper or twins, don’t give divine pillar to your teammates as they won’t be able to dodge elemental attacks they are weak to.
Omnipotent Orb is the “best” accessory in the game. It nullifies all damage apart from Almighty so it will make your character invincible against 95% of the game. The remaining 5% contains Reaper and Twins, which are the strongest bosses in the game. Reaper will spam concentrate+megidolaon and Twins will directly oneshot you with an all-out attack if you use omnipotent orb against them. This is the reason I don’t consider this accessory to be the best accessory in the game.
What’s the point of being the “best” accessory in the game if you cannot use it against the bosses you need it for? Having a good accessory is not something you worry about when fighting any other enemy in the game, so for me the best accessories are either Crystal Skull or Divine Pillar, which you can actually use against the superbosses.
ring of envy is actually pretty OP let’s me one hit almost everything with izanagi and saves a turn making boss fights quick
I did the twin fight Merciless with my whole party equipped with Omnipotent Orbs (you can get 4 if you NG+ your NG+ 4 times), and I took them down without problems. The twins do not get bored, they are programed to just spam their pattern attacks. The only way for you to lose against them is if you waste 51 Turns.
I’m hearing mixed responces to this and i cant seem to find a straight answer, if the MC is wearing the omnipotent orb can you actually finish the battle with the twins?….. cause i’ve been beat by their all out attack when i was just battling normally and actually winning the fight all my teammates at 90% health or more and the twins low and the fight just ends without the orb on, in past games bosses with this on they just 1 shot you for wearing it or using the skills that created a reflective shield for one attack they dont seem to do that when i use those skills or the items with the same effect in this one.
Will you do a video showing your prefered endgame persona setup on main char or it is basically the one you showed on you secret boss video?
I can confirm on MC divine pillar+firm stance is better than relying on evasion. Even on Merciless you’re taking sub 50 damage even from severe skills. Since Party members have weaknesses and can’t get firm stance you’re better off stacking evasion.
The ending of the video where you were talking in circles actually showed us more of your personality I feel. How you laughed at yourself and was self aware. Idk I felt like it was genuinely you in the way of we were talking in person rather through a screen. But ANYWAY, thanks for the video man. I’m going for the plat on my ng+ currently then next I’m going to try to do a solo run on merciless. Either solo or have my waifu Makoto join me and power couple the game
Where can u get crystal skull?
Considering how much time and energy is put into creating personas that null damage, the omnipotent orb is a nice shortcut that essentially frees up 4-6 ability slots. : )
I got about 20 turns into the twin fight on the first momento day with omni orb. Only reason I think it ended is because I kept missing after the light/dark phase.
For me, divine pillar is the way to go. i’d much rather be taking small, consistent hits than relying on a chance to dodge. It’s easier to heal and allows you to easily plan ahead.
You should’ve just sorted it by best accessories depending on the situation. Let say for example Crystal Skull is the best all around while SP Adhesive 3 and Omnipotent orb is great for finishing palaces quickly. Also that ending had me laughing. Haha
It really depends on whether or not you evade over 50% of the attacks. If you do, then evading is better. If not, then halfing damage is better. Personally, I think I’d just use whatever fits the personality of the persona. If the person’s looks agile, I’ll go for an evasive setup. If it looks like a tank, then I’ll make it a tank.
Which persona do you use to get the null * accesories i only know how to get the null elec for morgana
umm in my playthroughs the reaper didn’t spam megidoalon and the twins didn’t automatically use that all knockdown spell instantly which makes fighting them a hell of a lot easier giving the fact that everything they threw at me didn’t do anything the best part is the fact that by my 4th playthrough i beat them twice so i had 2 of those omnipotent orb so i equipped the 2nd one to ryuji and brought him to the fight i concentrate with ishtar and have ryuji tarukaja me and sure enough the attacks they threw at me didn’t do anything and then megadoalon with satanael which did about between 1000-2000 damage and if your wondering i had satanael with the almighty boost and amp so yeah massive damage and then i went to farm to reaper so that the team i was planning on using throughout the game (ryuji yusuke makoto) had there most powerful abilities so yeah ready for anything in game this playthrough is gonna be a cake walk
Hey Sephi, sorry for asking this on the wrong video, but do you think you need a persona with 99 luck in order to farm money? or do you think a persona with 50-60 luck is just as capable? Also how much money would you recommend grinding?
ahhh Sephi. I’m so close to my plat trophy. Just need the last 2 treasure demons to complete my compendium. D: !
Just got the omnipotent orb right before watching this video – and while I realize you have to beat the most powerful boss in the game to get it – it’s so ridiculous.
I was wondering what’s best for futaba luck 10 ? Whys she have hp and sp was she meant to have a bigger roll
Question: do you keep omnipotent orb if you start a new game+?
Nice video as allways. How about a guide about missions? You need to do all memento missions to get 3 trophies in total and you can totally screw up a whole playthrough if you miss Mishima’s messages. That might be worth making a video about. xD
Where can I get black rock?
Should I switch my Joker’s Expedite Ring for Yusuke’s Divine Pillar?
But doesn’t Divine Pillar make you highly susceptible to Hama and Mudo skills?
the amount of spoilers i get from watching your videos…. and the effort.of putting my volumn higher to try and understand that accent… feels bad. i guess theres the diff between channels you keep watching, and the ones you just toss
The Omnipotent Orb is useful against the twins though. They won’t really be able to do shit since they have a certain attack pattern (which means they can’t just spam megidolaon) so you just curb stomp them with Yoshitsune and reap the rewards.
Also, they won’t knock you down unless you don’t do enough damage within a number of turns. So just as long as you don’t waste 51 turns, you’re gucci.
The only weakness to the Omnipotent Orb is the final boss. The final boss spams Almighty skills.
nice video as always, thanks sephi!
I am very late but i experemented with the omnipotent orb on twins and yes they do get bored and one shot you. But it doesnt happen often to me personally… but it never happened when i had a party member with me so what gives?
When you’re trying to reach that word count on your essay. 😂
that crystal is better than the omni orb imo.
Don’t worry about not uploading a video everyday for persona 5, the ones you uploaded are all very useful and I thank you for that!
I used omnipontent orb against reaper in july when i was lvl 20 to farm him. I play on merciless although i swapped to easy for the fight due to exp % so idk how it would be on higher difficulties. My personas were satanael for my buffs (charge and heat up) then yoshitune for his 8 hit attack and i would swap between the 2. It took around 15ish mins along with around 4-5 master coffees for sp regen but i killed him and i killed him a few times after as well. He does occasionally uses almighty skills but just like if u fought him normally he tries to nullify ur resistances a lot. Although it would seem with the orb elemental debuffs don’t affect u as i continued to block all elemental attacks. i only took around 24-58 dmg per almighty spell so every few turns i would use diaharan. Long story shory omnipontent orb works wonder against the reaper.
I though you said that you would no longer make persona videos?
Does Crystal Skull increase evasion against Almighty damage too?
how about a irrelevant vending machine drink guide for luls
you should edit your audio so you’re not repeating yourself and especially dont say sorry for repeating.
Im going to try omnipotent orb on my healer support so they can heal the almighty dmg, and health cost skills of my team. Crystal skull in my other teammates and the divine pillar+ grace in my main. Just tank and heal through reaper at level 13…
Come back for p5 Royal.
You want me to like or dislike and if I pick dislike, I have to give feedback 😦(Picks the easier option and likes)
I just use Omnipotent Orb but whatever floats your boat
definitely helpful guide : D
This is gonna be a dumb question but how are you able to equip two accessories?
And, Omnipotent Orb works on the Reaper as well. Because it makes the fight predictable. Having him spam Concentrate and Almight attacks is always better than going for weaknesses and and getting an extra turn. But there is an easier way to tricking the Reaper into this patter and that is have one of your characters cast a reflect Magic, and the Reaper will automatically lock himself into the Concentrate+Almight attack. That way, Joker can have Divine Pillar equipped and the fight become super predictable and easy.
Great video man. Good info as well. Keep up the great work.
After you beat the twins can you fight them again ?
I’m a simple man. I see SephiZack doing Persona, I hit Like.
can I ask where to get the omnipotent orb? I tried Google but can’t find info on that
Whoa, so divine pillar does stack with firm stance… I thought it didn’t stack.
Do you know how to fuse the lowest lvl yoshitsune?
I use an equipment, i forgot how its called but it gives you +50 sp which is very usefull in ng+
Hey i know this suggestion might be extremely hard to do but can you do a video or respond on like mission dates. for example are there request/missions with confidants that you have to do on a particular day or else you miss it? Like what pace should i be hanging out with my confidants 3 days out of the week? to basically max them all and get all request
