All this engineering and technology without a computer in sight.

    2024 from India😊

  3. @DrBIeed on April 28, 2024 at 6:16 pm

Its funny think there was a time when cars had leaf springs front and rear. Pretty amazing they had figured out the front suspension so early on.

  4. @SmartCryptoEarning on April 28, 2024 at 6:16 pm

    Great Nice

Can anyone tell for what purpose these videos were made and where i can find more of these videos, because they are really good and easy to understand

  8. @Ahmad-kp9rf on April 28, 2024 at 6:18 pm

Best youtube videos i ever seen here. Full of knowledge part thank for upload

  9. @bo-dg3bh on April 28, 2024 at 6:20 pm

i’m too dumb to understand any of this

  10. @asmotaku on April 28, 2024 at 6:20 pm

  11. @MarkOwenMagaya on April 28, 2024 at 6:22 pm

    Same

  12. @gabrielr6679 on April 28, 2024 at 6:22 pm

So if a coilover set for front is 10 kg and rear is 7kg, because they are unequal will that cause pitching over bumps and dips?

  13. @858studios5 on April 28, 2024 at 6:23 pm

The fact that they show models makes me trust the technology, nowadays they don’t do that so you have to take their word for it, plus it’s far more educational which is what it should be.

  14. @user-kf7kw3vy2p on April 28, 2024 at 6:23 pm

Gonna be honest old commercials make me tired

  15. @oscarfernandez9039 on April 28, 2024 at 6:23 pm

I love the ending. 10 outa 10 commercial. Pure education and very well made. Funny too❤

  16. @unagisama5476 on April 28, 2024 at 6:26 pm

reason why commercials should remain black and white 😉

  17. @vvhh9578 on April 28, 2024 at 6:27 pm

Same concept can be used to record the motion of vehicle in road 🛣️ either in some hardisk memory connected to cars which could be used to analysis

  18. @ThugByChoice on April 28, 2024 at 6:30 pm

The these things rode like boats on a lake. Very good ride 👍🏾

  19. @gabrielwaterstripe9311 on April 28, 2024 at 6:31 pm

This was a commercial? Can we have more of these?

  20. @bilelsk9000 on April 28, 2024 at 6:31 pm

man we changed from convincing to cheating the customers

  21. @soup9242 on April 28, 2024 at 6:33 pm

When I first heard about suspension in cars, I thought, “But just attaching the cars to springs wouldn’t reduce the bounce by much.” This video addressed that, and explained from an engineer’s perspective how the springs are made and the clever placement of them.

  22. @pawandas7724 on April 28, 2024 at 6:34 pm

    05:15 that’s a helical spring.

  23. @mjay4700 on April 28, 2024 at 6:35 pm

I like how almost all voices from this era sound like FDR

  24. @danielbuckner2167 on April 28, 2024 at 6:38 pm

So much better than the crazy weirdness they had one year earlier in 37! Check those front suspensions out for a puzzle sometime!

  25. @myrusEW on April 28, 2024 at 6:39 pm

No way a commercial just clearly and succinctly described decades of suspension research without a single confusing word or phrase.

  26. @thedefaultguy7884 on April 28, 2024 at 6:41 pm

I am literally blown away by the intelligence of the ppl back then and their editing. For as old as this I swear this stuff is more entertaining than today’s commercials by a lot.

  27. @MDF4072 on April 28, 2024 at 6:42 pm

now they demo how they overcharge you using BS commercials of freedom and adventure with a truck lol

  28. @blameusa7082 on April 28, 2024 at 6:43 pm

man im learning more from a 100year old video better than anything they put out today!

  29. @noticiasinmundicias on April 28, 2024 at 6:44 pm

Now do trains! Oh wait you killed them lol

  30. @urla.tejaswitaruneee2483 on April 28, 2024 at 6:46 pm

This video was may be old but that old engineering principles are using nowadays as a trend.
Once again Thank you for this video.

  31. @copiumlmao on April 28, 2024 at 6:48 pm

they focused in comfort, not in monthly subscriptions.

  32. @ednis32 on April 28, 2024 at 6:48 pm

Hits different when an ad is well intentioned with the prime objective of educating the audience and not just marketing. Says alot about the society back then vs now.

  33. @RuslanKurmankulov on April 28, 2024 at 6:48 pm

Uh old American English is so good to hear…

  34. @urla.tejaswitaruneee2483 on April 28, 2024 at 6:53 pm

In this video I have got the much more awareness on car suspensions, thanks for the perfect explanation about Chevrolet Suspension. With this I got a clear idea on the working principle of car suspension.
    Thank you. 👍

  35. @user-tr2kr7gf8u on April 28, 2024 at 6:54 pm

A good ad makes you want to buy the product 80 years after its release

  36. @richcollins513 on April 28, 2024 at 6:55 pm

    8:25 I laughed so hard

  37. @TheCrankshaftRotator on April 28, 2024 at 6:55 pm

Todays cars are often equipped with pretty stiff springs and dampers, I just hate it.

  38. @smolapril on April 28, 2024 at 6:56 pm

Old Companies: Trust and Reliability 😌
New Companies: It’s cheaper to lobby than to save lives 😋

  39. @yeetusmaximus2936 on April 28, 2024 at 6:58 pm

6:28 you can see that they added a bar attached to the model so as to fixate the car and not cause bumps (the shadow in the middle). Still a fun watch though

  40. @derekhamlin4871 on April 28, 2024 at 6:58 pm

This is trash! Do not download!

  41. @laerrecar1161 on April 28, 2024 at 6:58 pm

    Somehow depressing.

  42. @rtgbhnkbn7004 on April 28, 2024 at 6:58 pm

  43. @chensherman on April 28, 2024 at 7:01 pm

so after 100 years , we don’t improve the suspension very much

  44. @caprarola26able on April 28, 2024 at 7:01 pm

  48. @silashooper2153 on April 28, 2024 at 7:10 pm

Why would soft springs in the front mess alignment up? Sorry if it’s a stupid question but with the straight axle I’m just stuck on that.

  49. @MarcoFlores-um7cj on April 28, 2024 at 7:12 pm

This shows how marketing destroyed TV

  50. @Snail_Nailz on April 28, 2024 at 7:15 pm

Comparing this ‘Dummies 101’ demonstration style against those given today that use made-up words or catchphrases, leaving everyone more confused than before…& often end up being outed as scam businesses that duped investors 😵‍💫
