Hey, I’m wondering how you kept your hair platinum
while living in a car? Your roots seem to be very high up and not super grown out in most of your living in a car series on YouTube.

    Stuff I recommend:
    – Plastic “dresser” drawers become a “mobile closet” & storage, easy access & organization. Top doubles as a table for vanity, eating, work desk. Place on back seat floor, wedge between seats for stability. cover top with piece of plywood or acrylic for best use.
    – 550 cord for EVERYTHING
    – poncho, multiuse & easy to sanitize: “curtain” for windows when changing, outdoor shower stall (I like to drape over stick-end umbrella with 550 cord, gallon jug can refill at rest stops), of course as a rain protectant for anything .
    – plastic solar light strings at dollar store. No batteries needed! Easy to secure with ? (Yep 550)
    – potable water only pleeease. Reusable bladder bags are cheap & space savers; dry out on your 550 clothesline when empty, sun is natural “sanitizer”
    – couple cheap bed sheets; use as a natural “AC” by immersing in water and hanging over windows-down, one on each side with portable fan works best at night but be safe, ex add cat bell or soda can of coins (Works similar to backwards box window fan)
    – tight-seal cooler is necessary splurge $15 at DG, use with sure seal bags to fill with ice for FREE anywhere instead of putting ice loose
    – collapsable “water” boiler (sooo many uses)
    – rechargeable battery port for fast multi device charging
    – egg crate foam mattress > + cheaper than air mattress
    – tracphone for cheap phone, but keep other small electronic device for Wi-Fi capability
    – BIBLE and little notebooks or small whiteboard
    – red flares in case of emergency
    – protection of some sort

    Tips:
    – running water is a luxury, bird bath it with limited full showers.
    – Air out car, and hand wash clothes (550 clothesline)
    – don’t look homeless, get cheap acrylic portable standing mirror and use your mobile vanity
    – eat calorie dense nutritious food (not fast food); pb sandwich, oatmeal, anything you can heat up with water boiler above. Try intermittent fasting to save money and have more energy
    – always store foods in sealed cooler to ward off pests
    – try NOT to eat in car to avoid trapped food smells
    – use busy rest stops at day & truck gas stations at night. They often have nice bathrooms, charging stations, and sell random creature comforts (awesome memory travel pillow that I can use for neck support anytime and sleep!
    – wool is a great breathable fabric for blankets
    – don’t be too shy to talk to people at gas stations. They know and see everything
    – take advantage of areas with free Wi-Fi, listen to podcasts, discover a “portable hobby”
    – get some exercise (cheap bands are great, walks at a park or mall)
    – dog may be companion and guardian but keep in mind they can overheat in a car
    – Give thanks, pray, work where you can

Thanks for all the help you’re giving others!

I’ve lived in my car in SoCal & frankly I mostly enjoyed the freedom & money saving.

I had clients where I cared for their homes & pets so I was at a clients home 75% of the time. That made things very easy for me!
