It was a better one making a video on how their over reliance on china can bring them down like a falling tree. By the way, samsung has already made public their move out of china to texas on high end semiconductors. I am jusy saying..

AirPods and Apple Music is probably the most notable revolutions from apple as of recently in my eyes.

The only milestone product launched by Tim Cook is the Apple Silicon products, everything else, Steve Jobs did better, the Mac, Mac OS X / iOS, the iMac, the iPod, iPhone, iPad, iTunes. Those were revolutionary products that changed the world. Apple TV, home pod, watch, airpods, these are meaningless products only fanboys love. Tim Cook, on the other hand, is good at grabbing money. And then there was Woz, who did Apple I and II, the original revolution happened with Woz.

I dont get the fixation with "share price". It literally doesn’t matter unless you think billionaires profiting off trillion dollar companies is good for the everyday person.

  30. @taquilatricepss on January 20, 2024 at 10:34 am

not a popular opinion but tim cook took apple to new stratosphere

    It’s April 2022 and Apple’s market value is almost $2,9 trillion…

  34. @miningforscreens on January 20, 2024 at 10:42 am

Interesting. You know, I kind of wish Microsoft didn’t give Apple all that money back in the day because Apple products are annoyingly popular to me. At the same time, what would the world be like today if Apple declared bankruptcy back then?

  35. @sagar200991 on January 20, 2024 at 10:47 am

    Cancel my WSJ subscription

WSJ is actually stealing. It allows people of California, Vermont, Maine to cancel subscription online but not to people from Asia pacific. Just because our government has not taken notice, it is stealing money from people.

Tim Cook is a great leader of Apple. I wonder how he maintains winning strategies for so long periods. Definitely, he has a vision that is unique and powerful in company operations.

Everything is like Daoiam symbol got two colors in the world, including APPLE.

I was APPLE computer user in 90s, yeah still cutting edge even now. For the latest mobile, I don’t see anything special at all compared with Samsung.

Again, one day it will fade in a certain magnitude by natural law. Will see how long it will last.

  42. @mariacheebandidos7183 on January 20, 2024 at 10:54 am

it is interesting to see how reporters interpret or report (misreport) events that you are very familiar with.
the misreports, exaggerations, … just to create drama or spice up a story.
makes you wander, what else in history (especially important events) have been misreported.

  46. @smilebot484 on January 20, 2024 at 10:57 am

Simple formula. They actually make great stuff. Unusual. Weird. Strange formula. Every other tech company is happy to join the foot race to the bottom. Apple isn’t interested in making cheap junk. That doesn’t work for all consumers but it does for enough of them to make the formula work.

  47. @abirahmed1292 on January 20, 2024 at 10:58 am

I use apple products and I love them but I still want android being used by people so competition remains
