There is a lot of prevention of injuries in the design of these machines. The industry has to be profitable to afford them. Some of the car jack products might be in the range of the shade tree hobbyist mechanic. Overall an enlightening and impressive video.

  16. Liam Fox on December 11, 2022 at 1:07 am

I appreciate that these videos show not only products that are actually available, but also gives pricing. So many of these tech channels take pie in the sky concept ideas, and present them as actual products, or showcase products that cost millions/ are only available to people like NASA

  27. Ron Liebermann on December 11, 2022 at 1:22 am

If you have a car that’s less than ten years old, then setting-up a home shop isn’t a very good idea. There are so many specialized tools, and computer-codes that it would take you four times as long as a professional to make the same repair . Those Snap-On mechanics have twenty thousand dollars worth of tools. Or more.

It’s funny, but there isn’t a website that categorizes repairs. For example if your water pump fails, you shouldn’t have to call five different shops looking for a price. There should be a website that shows the average cost of the common repairs for each car. That way, customers can tell at a glance how much it would cost. But if Ford repair prices were categorically listed, then nobody would buy a Ford. So we live in world of enforced ignorance. Those sheister Ford dealers will innocently claim that they don’t know the cost of a repair.

I’ve use the Autolift 3000 for a number of year great bit of kit for the enthusiast 👍

  29. shelby M on December 11, 2022 at 1:25 am

The average person would kill themselves with all these. I bet that’s the main setback.

  30. Valter P on December 11, 2022 at 1:25 am

  31. Jeff Blah Blah on December 11, 2022 at 1:25 am

Imagine you turn your car like rotisserie chicken and tool brakes ,

  35. Leander Smith on December 11, 2022 at 1:29 am

Did you see the thickness of the pipe they used? Pretty scary.

  36. selador11 on December 11, 2022 at 1:30 am

15 hundred for the auto rotisserie? Try more like 15 k. You couldn’t buy half the materials to build it yourself for 15 hundred.

  37. Captain Blacktooth on December 11, 2022 at 1:31 am

00:01 …. In 1980 when I went to a trade show with my father who owned dealerships he bought a unit very much like this … in practice …. Except that would tilt the car back/forward and also lift the whole side all on electric motors: Not much new under the sun is there.

  43. BRIAN TOH on December 11, 2022 at 1:41 am

What is the web site of AUTOOL HTS558

  44. MagnetNerd on December 11, 2022 at 1:42 am

lmao, take two tires off then tip your car and you’re buying a new bumper. Client leaves coffee in car, pay for detailing job. Tipping a car is just a bad idea.

  47. cyrus05w on December 11, 2022 at 1:44 am

It’s too bad it didn’t mention somewhere right up front that this is just a rerun of some older videos, I mean I like the video but I’ve already seen most of these things from your channel on your channel with your channel and all that jazz. I haven’t looked yet but hopefully you also added the links like before in the description that’s mighty handy.
