What all software do you recommend for the business???

  2. Edward Millan on May 23, 2022 at 8:42 am

If they don’t decide to make the repairs do you charge diagnostic?

  3. Suk's automotive on May 23, 2022 at 8:44 am

I subscribed definitely helps this shy community of mechanics !

  4. Michael Rollins on May 23, 2022 at 8:44 am

Hey man, like your videos. I am considering opening my own shop, I want to stay away from tires and “just oil change” or having people waiting on their car at my shop, but not sure if that’s a bad idea or if those are profitable enough that I should be willing to do that. curious about you opinion. Thanks man.

  5. Oneradman93 on May 23, 2022 at 8:46 am

  6. Devon Brown on May 23, 2022 at 8:46 am

Hey bro I just leased out a building today to start a small oil change, AC recharge, brakes, and car detailing and washing shop. I’m a 1 man army for now, because I don’t have any customers yet. I just wanna know how long does it typically take to build a customer base. I know a bunch of friends and family members who will support me, so it’s not gonna be hard to get customers. I also wanted to know how long have you been a mechanic and how long have you been running your own shop? Gracias Senor.

  10. Noreen McGovern on May 23, 2022 at 8:55 am

So, would you say, you follow Henry Ford’s assembly line theory?

  11. xyz20121000 on May 23, 2022 at 8:56 am

How about garage lease ? where to find a garage mecanic for lease ,what’s the average?🙏

  12. Noreen McGovern on May 23, 2022 at 8:57 am

So, Henry Ford’s assembly line theory works for a shop as well. Drop off time, diagnostic, quotes, repair no parts needed, pick up parts and fix the quickest to longest

  13. Big Ohhh! on May 23, 2022 at 8:57 am

What do you charge for inspection?

  14. Pierre Vassal on May 23, 2022 at 8:58 am

why did you stop working for the pees

  23. Johnny Vasquez on May 23, 2022 at 9:10 am

Can you talk a little more about accepting credit card payments. What provider service would you recommend?
Processing fees? If you decided to get a second mechanic, what is the best way to pay him?

  24. Billy Bob on May 23, 2022 at 9:12 am

I’m confused about the part about it being your shop but not really

  25. Fuzzy Moto on May 23, 2022 at 9:12 am

In the next episode: Why mechanics should wear black T’s everyday for success. Check in the link below for my favorite black T. Just kidding, you do a great job on camera Nestor. Keep it up.

  26. God has saved me! on May 23, 2022 at 9:15 am

Hope you don’t put world pack parts on costumer cars. Cheap but faulty! Most shops use this cheap companies and quote you for highly quality ones.

  27. Tara P on May 23, 2022 at 9:16 am

Great video. Time mgmt & organization are the keys to everything. Seems like giving yourself wiggle room for when you expect to have the 2nd car ready accounts for any unforeseen problems. Wow….appointments are a necessity.

  28. 1Motormouth Automotive on May 23, 2022 at 9:17 am

I’m just starting up my Mobile Mechanic business and I appreciate your videos. I did watch your video on the goals after Mobile Mechanics and I do have aspirations of owning an actual shop someday but for now this is the easiest way to get my foot in the door and I am actually the only “Mobile Mechanic” in my area. Most people I’ve encountered have never even heard of it

  29. Brandon Rodriguez on May 23, 2022 at 9:18 am

These videos are gold Nestor. I’m 9 years deep into diesel repair and I’m ready to make the jump into my own shop thanks to your videos 👍🏽

  31. Philly Dee on May 23, 2022 at 9:20 am

  33. Ryan Keating on May 23, 2022 at 9:21 am

What do you do for markup for parts?

  34. Ryan Kurtz on May 23, 2022 at 9:21 am

hey your video was very helpful
looking at opening a two man shop
was wondering what kind of over head cost do you have on a monthly bases that i should pay attention to when opening a shop or any recommendations on dos and donts

  35. Manny's Vlog on May 23, 2022 at 9:21 am

For a very small, one man shop with two lifts, maybe only one lift. How much is the most you should pay for rent? I would love to be a one man shop, but I live in Miami-Dade County, FL and rents are about $2000.00 month for very small spots in unimpressive locations. Seems like too much to me.

  36. Bearded Tool Reviews on May 23, 2022 at 9:21 am

What kind of system did you use to charge customers and set appointments? I-pad laptop or what software?

  37. MrBeefsnorkel on May 23, 2022 at 9:22 am

Hey bro, just wanted to check in with you. Ever since i started watching your videos, you greatly motivated me. As of last week, i got made shop foreman of the large toyota repair dealer ive worked at for bout 4 years now and im only 30 years old. Wanted to thank you for inspiration.

People, take what Nestor says to heart. You wont regret it.

  38. Jeff Cuevas on May 23, 2022 at 9:23 am

  41. MrPyorii on May 23, 2022 at 9:24 am

My uncle did the mistake of not doing appointments. Now his stressed and crazy that he needs the cars fixed and now his lost track..

  42. Tim Swoaks on May 23, 2022 at 9:26 am

Nice video. Glad to know I’m on the right track. My biggest problem is knowing how to quote customers do u use a program/app to do this

  43. CortleyJoe5 Burns on May 23, 2022 at 9:29 am

What if you have a big job like a trans do you turn away the rest?

  44. Jose Campos on May 23, 2022 at 9:30 am

How did you register your business association, corporation or LLC?

  45. Mobile Mechanics World Wide on May 23, 2022 at 9:30 am

What if you have 2 or 3 motor/transmission jobs? How would you handle the small jobs? Would you turn them down or get them scheduled in also?

  46. bimmer325is1 on May 23, 2022 at 9:34 am

    Hey, I had a question.

Would it be a smart idea. To start a mobile services.. that only focus on fluid flushes… transmission, transfer case, front and rear diff, coolant, oil changes, power steering flush, brake fluid flushes..

    Let me know that’s.

  47. Hoodbilly4sure on May 23, 2022 at 9:34 am
