I just rented a regular Mazda 3 (meaning not the hatchback version) and I was highly impressed. It was unexpected how good it was. The easy to control screen was awesome. The handling.. the automatic high beams.. the stay in lane feature and so so on… I’d actually buy one..

The seats without perforation are not leather.

It is premium but it does miss a few things out that would just push it over the edge, air con seats and felt in the door pockets so things dont rattle also the grab handles on the roof lining dont sit very flush, just the tiny attention to details. Id admit no other car in the price range is any better but not totally premium yet
