Ok, everyone will say the reason why is because of their fleet sales, you may want to look into Toyota retail sales and what they actually include, I’ve got news for you folks Toyota does fleet sales too and at a much higher level than most people realize, I’ve coined a new phrase, quiet fleet sales, that’s sales to small companies like plumbers, electricians, foundation services, construction companies, pharmaceutical sale reps, maid services, taxis, etc small companies, the list goes on and on, that Toyota dealers don’t consider fleet sales, note Nissan does something similar (and the main models are the RAV4, Tacoma, Corolla, and Tundra, not going to mention the Camry, Prius, and Sienna taxis I see), not to mention their fleet sales to rental car companies or their leasing rate number (you know there was a discussion over a decade ago about fleet vs leases, fleets are sales completed, whereas I call leases, boomerang sales, meaning those vehicles are coming back and are partial sales) and this is from the Toyota dealers I know, the problem is everyone wants to seem like they’re leading something, take Ford F-Series for another example, number one selling vehicle for over 4-decades and counting, but everyone knows GM is the number one full-size pickup seller (two models vs one) or BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus for the luxury sales crown, I’m more worried about the new-gen Toyota Sequoia sales, especially given the Grand Highlander is coming and Lexus price increases on the NX and RX, that NX / RX is getting up there with a BMW X3 / X5 or Mercedes GLC / GLE, if you add the options to models you actually want, just saying and when is Lexus launching their RZ 450e EV, seriously, Toyota’s EV number should worried people, but it’s basically what Toyota’s been saying, more hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and then, EVs later on, side note Toyota dealers near me have plenty of inventory, more than the Chevy dealers near me

Quality over quantity. GM sells junk compared to Toyota. Additionally, Toyota sells slowed down due to production and chain management issues.

GM’s mark up’s, recalls/reliability, accidents and etc are pathetic.

Makes sense when you own 40 brands compared to just three when it comes to GM and Toyota
