Welcome to Coffee Walk Ep. 162!
My team and I loaded up the truck and trailer this morning to head out to Quinlan, Texas to talk American Muscle with Thomas Weeks and to rescue a rarely-optioned 1972 Pontiac Trans Am. Just how rare? Well I’m going to let you guys watch to find out because I don’t want to ruin it, but let’s just say this Trans Am (1 of only 458 produced) can keep a couple of car guys talking for hours on end.
Special thanks to B&F Diner in Royse City for the epic lunch and great service!

Great car history lesson. I have an 1985 Pontiac firebird 5 speed Tee-Top I don’t wanna sell it but you never know make me an offer.
I hate to tell you that there were not any Super Duty’s made in ’72. Super Duty’s were made in ’73 and ’74 only.
Can I get an invite to go meet Thomas? I feel like he’s an old friend I never met! I’m from Johnson city, TX
Thomas is a legend. Enjoyed that.
Love the knowledge im getting here from you guys. Im looking at a 76 formula 400 4 speed a/c car 56k mile all original silver w/ red interior everything in working order and nothing missing. This car was taken well care of all its life. Zero rust…W50 car rally ll wheels build sheet. Whats it worth today in excellent original condition?? Just curious 🤔 if that would be a good investment.
I do not follow you guys, but always saw Thomas for who he is, and appreciate how you do things. I’ll Subscribe now! Thank you for your kick ass content!
What was the carb?
Don’t leave us hanging
Thomas sounds like a guy my older brother worked for.. his name was "Cal Worthington" and his dog spot =) haha
Dennis How the F*ckk do you eat all that ?
Dude every other episode .. Outstanding !
Thomas just talks an talks an he would try and sell snow to a ski mountain he does he great effort to uptalk his cars in my mind cars they’re not too good
I used to own a 69 Tfransam and a 70 -73 Transams miss them !
what is that buzzing noise….? it is driving me crazy
Back in 1988 i bought a 75 Firebird Formula 350 4 speed for 300.00 delivered to my door, but this 72 Trans Am is Sweet, love the front clip on this year.
Love watching the body and the knowledge learned is amazing, thank you…
Thomas is a real walking car encyclopedia. Man I would pay to listen to him talk. The car world wouldn’t be the same without people like Thomas and Dennis. This was the best coffee walk yet. 👍👍👍
Merica!!!! Bless you boys

Nice seeing Thomas. And it’s nice to see the shared history between you two. 👍❤️😊
Now I’m starving thanks
because it is a strike car this is somewhat normal when they started up production they used what ever they had lying around just like my 1995 transam Ram air because of the strike it all correct except the ram air blower box in Canada they ran out of them
In 1974 my friend Alan had a 1970.5 Trans Am 455 HO with a 4 speed and it was Maroon in color. His dad was a car GM dealer. In 1975 he totaled the car when he rear-ended a truck while looking at an orange Bricklin turning a corner and heading North on Federal Hwy. In Ft. Lauderdale.
I always liked Thomas, good guy.
C8ZX-A on the tag if that’s a 68 Shelby Tag
Couldn’t you have It sand blasted?
Get rid of that Edel.junk!
Those wheels are to nice to have been on that car
I just love that nobody’s even mentioned the fj55 in his garage/carport – that would have all my attention….
Do they have the fries that SHUT THE HECK UP!
can’t believe how much Thomas talked. Quit trying so hard.
I want to go work for this guy
Thomas is a great guy. All you haters take your head off and plant it in the garden 💩
I really liked this one. My only question is Where is Tom? Is he still around?
72 T / A is the best muscle car of all time !
OUTSTANDING . . . !
Now I gotta go out and get the tarp of of my ’79 Trans Am before it ends up looking like this one!
Thomas is one sleezy bastard. I would not trust him as far as I could throw him……

Listening to this guy is like listening to a 4 year old tell about his trip to Disneyland.
