A Hummer has enough battery to build 3 Bolts instead, but they make more money on the Hummer. Meanwhile Bolts are hard to find.
It will be a couple years until batteries are more available, and cheaper.

Ya never know. EV buyers aren’t the brightest bulbs in the refrigerator. They might just pay the inflate prices.
Wait until they all catch on fire and the fireman can’t even put out the fire because of the batteries. Just like here in Jersey 5 electric vehicles burned up on a car carrier. Firemen are having a hard time putting out EV fires, the batteries put off toxic fumes and reignite after hours, even after being submerged in water, yes it’s true.
You were talking about MSRP but when the Ford Lighting gets to the deal it has an extra mark up from 10 thousand to 20 depending were you purchase the truck. I don’t see things changing because were living in a society that everyone wants to be the first one to have it even if it breaks them. Then there’s leasing that has become popular with the public as they keep leasing they will have to settle when that’s all they can get. It’s sad that the majority of Americans don’t realize were being herded like Sheep and try there boycott power with these corporation’s.
I’m fed up with the EV craze. I don’t like too many handicaps on any vehicle. My 2010 Toy TRD Dbl cab SR5 4.0L 1GRFE uses a key. I’ve always loved the feature since my 96 V6 Camry where you turn the key twice to unlock or lock all four doors. And when you leave the lights on. The min you open the driver side door it closes the circuit to turn off the lights. " I love what you do for me, Toyoda!!"
So, the one that isn’t the Hummer or Ford, is it supposed to be as off road capable as the best of them? Colorado ZR2, Wrangler or Gladiator Rubicon, Tacoma TRD Pro, etc?
What a joke. Makes me love my 7.3 Super Duty even more. Using slave labor to mine lithium is not for me.

Don’t forget, Ford dealers are adding $20,000 market adjustment to the Lightning! One youtube channel showed an actual MSRP of $99,000 + $20,000 dealer market adjustment = $120,000 sale price. Ford dealers are adding 3-20k over MSRP on their cars & trucks for market ( screw the customer) adjustment.

There’s only a couple of reasons companies increase prices, either their initial costings were floored or they are not getting the projected returns they thought they would because people are not as stupid as Ford thought they were

I have been checking with some cystom shops,,you can get a frame up rebuild for about 30,000…alot cheaper then new,,with a warranty…..

Just saw a brand new lightning parked in the middle of the highway onramp with its emergency flashers on. 🤣
In September 2007, I bought a 2008 F-150 FX2 model for $30,000. She has 292,600 miles. The only parts under the hood that are not original are the spark plugs, the battery and the alternator and the struts (rear two). 😅Transmission is the original. Even the stereo system is original. Now I doubt I’ll be buying a new Ford truck anytime soon! They are ridiculous expensive! Im ready to celebrate this year in September her 16th birthday and her 300,000 miles. Thank you Henry Ford 😊
