Ford truck f150 crew cab stx 2018 how much
Mitchel, I just bought a 2020 F-150 XLT with FX4 pkg and the Sport Appearance pkg. Is this pkg suppose to include tray style floor liners and the integrated tailgate step? Mine came without. Thanks

With the STX crew cab at nearly $50k I don’t see how you can claim this to be a well specced “work truck”. 🤷🏻♂️
One thing I can’t stand, that nobody really gets to touch on…are those FX4 OFF ROAD ‘stickers’ on the truck! It’s so ugly in my opinion, and it makes it look cheap.
Just bought the 2021 STX supercab 4×4 in black and I love it. I get tons of compliments on the truck.
I love my 2020 2.7L STX model. I have the same color that is being shown in this video. It is the best value for the money in the truck Ford F-150 line with no other BS that is not needed.

I have a 2012 XLT. My next 150 will probably be a Lariat or King Ranch trim level.
For anyone wanting remote start on the stx model some have it but doesn’t have a designated button you just hit lock unlock and lock again and if it has it it will start, my 2019 f150 stx fx4 remote starts like this

Trucks are great, but trucks are getting ridiculously expensive. Starting to become non affordable for some people who need trucks.
I agree with other comments. I live in Texas and if I’d have seen this first, I’d drive to Alabama and buy a truck from this guy; very honest!
First time owner here, and I must admit …. I got a whole lotta new information here than the dealership I bought my truck from….. all they were interested in was overwhelming me with stupid add-ons I didn’t need. I wish I saw this video before I bought my truck. Thanks for the information.

Lol is it me or does the stx look better than the others?
So, what I don’t understand is this. I purchased a 2018 /STX 4×4. The salesman told me it was on the XL package with the STX package. But, my vin identifies my truck as a Lariat. When Apex Protect asks for trim package, STX is not an optional selection. Do I say it’s a XL or a Lariat?
I’m in Texas and I just bought this 2019 the weekend before last just because of this video, went with the 2019 stx velocity blue with the 2.7.

Interesting. I can’t blame them for assuming the 5.0 is the most reliable. Naturally they’re probably basing their opinion on the number of trucks they see come through the shop for repairs. The 2.7 and 3.5 make up 60-70% of all f-150’s sold, and apparently the 5.0 is only 20-ish%. As expected, there’s gonna be less than half the 5.0’s coming into the shop assuming reliability is similar. If reliability was exactly the same between all models, they’d naturally see 6 or 7 ecoboosts for every 2 5.0’s they see. Can’t blame them for assuming the 5.0 is that much more reliable. And perhaps it actually is. But I think it’s reliability is probably only marginally higher.

Great video. Awesome guy to explain the finances. I have a 2019 STX, FX4, with a 2.7. I put a 2" leveling kit on it, added running boards and made a plywood box liner and I’m quite smitten with my 1/2 ton that does 24-26 mpg (21 US). I was all in at $39901.31 Cdn for mine (I live in Northern Alberta) so that’d be 31286.93 US depending on the exchange day. I’m super happy with my deal. I’m 50k kms so far 30k miles and the only hitch is the diaper (right behind the skid plate) they put on those trucks for road noise. I went through two and simply removed it. If you run dirt roads, mud or lots of snow and ice you’ll undoubtedly figure it out quickly.
I’m going up one level next time. I like the 75 more hp option in the 3.5 and I want the remote start off my phone. Cheers.

Wish the prices were still this low. All of those rebates disappeared like a fart in the wind. You can’t even get a 2-3 year old F150 for those prices now.
