#Europe’s car manufacturers have been hit by another roadblock. Following logistics backlogs caused by COVID-19 shutdowns and a scarcity of #semiconductors, they must now navigate the complications of rising energy prices and potential power cuts.

#Germany approved a 200-billion-euro (about $199 billion) energy relief package on October 21 to help ease skyrocketing prices for industries and households. This comes as the country’s car makers suffer a blow from the ongoing energy crisis.

The cold winter would be torturing for the Europeans, but they can’t blame others as it’s their own fault for sanctioning Russia

Germany is quickly becoming a disfunctional failed state on life support by the loans, credits and debt from the United States. While the capitalists in Volkswagen, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are transferring industry, technology and factories to China where there is cheap energy from Russia and cheap and skilled workforce.

  11. mudshovel289 on February 15, 2023 at 11:13 am

Germany will find a way to manage without Russian gas. The amount of work that’s going into this, you’d have to be dumb to think they eventually won’t.

It should be pointed out that German automakers sell only a relatively small percentage of their cars in Germany itself; 40-50% of their unit sales occur in China and most of these vehicles are also manufactured there.

  14. hobbybauer on February 15, 2023 at 11:17 am

After complete de-industrialization, Germany will probably become farmland again. After all, about 50% of the area is already used for agriculture. I think then significantly fewer people will live there, since many will emigrate.

It is sad that a country that maintained it’s independence from the time of the Roman Empire is an American puppet today. Last time German people were punished by war reparations imposed by the same American friends, Hitler and Nazis rose to power. Somehow, lessons of history are easily forgotten even when they were terribly painful. China has not forgotten it’s past so it cares a lot about the future. That’s why there’s hope that Western hegemony will end.

    For the European economic problems:
    Withdraw all sanctions against Russia.
    Stop providing weapons to Ukraine.
Force Ukraine to Negotiate with Russia.
Don’t entertain others to solve internal problems of Europe.
Russian energy is the base of European economy.
Make a greater alliance (economic, political, military)with Russia.
    No NATO, no USA.
Russia will never attack Europe as EU is their business partners.
China will never attack any country as all countries are their business partners.
This is the solutions and facts of the World.
Create a common labour law with common wages for different categories of works and appropriate encouraging remuneration.
    More..
Standard of currency transaction measure to be decided.
One currency should not dictate the global markets.
For introducing sanctions, two- third majority of all recognise countries are required.

  33. Niphon Arunyakasemsuk on February 15, 2023 at 11:39 am

Good luck switching to renewable energy for automotive industries. It is better to formally apologise to Russia, compensate Russia for the damages and disruption caused by the west’s sanction, and offer to correct the false representation of Russia by the west’s mainstream media and beg Russia to have the gas delivered to Europe again. And the most importantly, keep the US away from interfering on anything for good.

Scholz has been an unmitigated disaster for Germany, he needs to resign or be voted out of office.

  50. Charles Chaource on February 15, 2023 at 12:00 pm

This is exactly the intention of the usa, companies that out of "created necessity" move their activities to the…….. USA. It’s all so terribly transparent. The film starts with impressions from France and not Germany. The usa is sucking in all technology, with all the research and knowledge that is linked to it. European politicians are even dumber than stupid. They have no mind, only reactions. But hey, every nation gets the leaders it deserves. Lots of stupid people = lots of stupid leaders. Unfortunately, the US-produced cars (and other expensive items) will find little demand in the totally shattered Europe. The ultimate phase in colonialism, we are our own victims. We get what we deserve
