Automotive industry badly affected by rolling blackouts
The automotive business council, Naamsa says load shedding has affected the performance of the automotive industry. The body has welcomed the ANC’s proposal that government declare a national state of disaster to deal with the energy crisis. Naamsa released new vehicle sales statistics for the month of January 2023, which showed a small increase of 4 point 8 percent or 43-thousand units in new vehicles sold.
