    I have a 2016 Honda CR-V 2WD only problem I’m having is the car is vibrating while idling in drive while stop at a stop sign. Any suggestions.

    My mom had a 2016 Acura RDX….awful awful transmissions, awful awful stiff ride…just complete garbage. Got her into a lexus rx350 and it’s like night and day.

    Front wheel drive is no where near as safe as all wheel drive on slippery roads. If I still lived in a Northern state, no way would I drive my front wheel drive car. It’s worth the extra maintenance to get an all wheel drive when you have to drive in snow and hills.

    Yeah but can Toyotas and Hondas handle as well as their American counterparts?That’s the biggest issue for me. With car tech getting much better, almost any car will last 100k miles if you take proper care of it, which makes Japanese cars overrated in this market. I’ll stick to American cars and replace them every 3-4 years if I have to, for the sake of nicer handling and tech.

    Scotty I recently Watched your video regarding RX 350 Lexus. In fact,after watching your video, I left and bought a used 2013 Lexus RX 350 in really good condition. However, I am concerned because I’ve been seeing videos of these suvs having some sort of oil leak line issue, and Lexus supposedly came up with a replacement but the part still leaks all the oil out. You then have to get it towed in right away. This sort of deal scares me, because I bought this and I am retired so I don’t want any big repair bills. I wished you would make a video about this. Can you give me any information about it?

    Problem is the price of these SUV and the price of the parts when they do break. There are some other brand where you can buy 2 or even 3 to 1 of the ones he mentioned. There is also the in-between brands like Kia and Hyundai. Their quality is good but yet not the high cost to buy like a Honda. When it comes to winters they all take a beating.

    Scotty: gets in customers car… Starts it, messes with the a/c. Heads out. First stop sign…… hmm what’s this thing got…. FLOOR IT!!!
    frikin love him. Yes mechanics really do ride your car kinda hard sometimes, it really helps them find underlying issues that havent quite surfaced yet for someone such as Miss Violet the 80 yr old lady who wont even drive over 30mph or outside of town. If it isnt even getting into 4th gear how woudl ya know its a 4th gear issue, same for acceleration, if you dont stomp the pedal, how could you find out the fuel pump or lines were not keeping up when your floor it, which causes other problems when driving like a normal person and can be a sign of many things no fancy scan tool required.
