Most new cars are getting *stupidly* expensive these days…but not the 2024 Chevy Trax. Even at the top end, this new crossover comes in just under $25,000. Kase covers what you get in the base version of Chevy’s latest addition to its SUV lineup, as well as what you get at the top end with the sporty-looking RS and the more rugged-looking Activ.

Looks way better than the new HRV.

  2. Mike Willoughby on October 22, 2023 at 2:32 am

  3. Nimrod rebirth on October 22, 2023 at 2:32 am

  4. Harry Williamson on October 22, 2023 at 2:36 am

  5. ren ren on October 22, 2023 at 2:38 am

omg u are so hot lol

  6. Cleveland Carlson on October 22, 2023 at 2:38 am

I like the RS most & yes they need an SS model. They look good but I wonder after ten years how they hold up??

  7. Robert Olson on October 22, 2023 at 2:39 am

FWD that will loose traction on ice or wet roads. It get worse gas millage that the trax 1.4. I get 37 to 39 mpg on flat surfaces when fully loaded. I get 40 to 50 mpg when its just me driving on flat surfaces. Its longer so fat asses can fit in the back when its only rated for 200lbs for all for seats. So it can’t really haul 4 fat asses. 😂

  8. Pinkkermit17 on October 22, 2023 at 2:43 am

Just because its entry level it doesn’t mean it needs to look cheap, the crap plastic, ugly seats and interior color schemes make it not worth it.

  9. bb bbb on October 22, 2023 at 2:45 am

I like the Active better. Like the wheels more than the RS.

  10. DM Racuya on October 22, 2023 at 2:45 am

    Chevy affordable.
Toyota trying hard to be bmw at price range.

  11. Brett Tipton on October 22, 2023 at 2:46 am

This is a station wagon, which is a good thing.

  12. August Biernbaum on October 22, 2023 at 2:47 am

I feel like they’ve done a huge remodel of the Trax and only a soft update to the Trailblazer to prepare for a future off-road reboot of the Trailblazer

  13. Kevin on October 22, 2023 at 2:48 am

    JUNK

  14. Jens Walden on October 22, 2023 at 2:49 am

Those look awefully similar / same as the "newly" re-designed Kia Sportage. Spec wise, it looks like the Chevy comes with less features than the Kia Sportage.

  15. Eric G on October 22, 2023 at 2:50 am

The only thing I’d like added is power seats for driver and passenger, at least as an option. Otherwise, this looks like an easy buy over much of the competition, even some that are significantly more expensive.

  16. Bob Dailey on October 22, 2023 at 2:51 am

    How tall is Andre?

  17. Steve Delacruz on October 22, 2023 at 2:52 am

    LS with actives rims

  18. ecountre on October 22, 2023 at 2:55 am

The activ is higher end than the rs

  19. Robert Diehl on October 22, 2023 at 2:55 am

My thought is that the 1.2 litre 3 cylinder engine will blow up at 60,000 miles after warranty expires and you will be stuck paying 5 or 6,000 dollars replacing the engine. I’ll pass…..

  20. whiz on October 22, 2023 at 2:58 am

Needs a larger engine, then we might consider it. No where can you find the weight of the 2024 Trax. GM doesn’t want you to know the weight since it has a very small 1.2 engine. Engine should be at least twice the 1.2 or a 2.5

  21. Kevin Addington on October 22, 2023 at 2:58 am

Manufacturers are making engines as small as they can for vehicles. That’s a lot of weight for a 3 cylinder to move. Very little horsepower. I am interested in seeing how the 3 cylinder engine holds up in the long run,

  22. Prepper Dawg on October 22, 2023 at 3:01 am

I am typically not a GM fan, but I really give Chevy credit for a nice looking small SUV at this price point. Great review.

  23. Joanna Lopez on October 22, 2023 at 3:01 am

I love the new Chevy Trax i got mine in fountain blue. also RIP on your hoodie

  24. millard smith on October 22, 2023 at 3:02 am

    RS is best looking.

  25. Dcyphrz on October 22, 2023 at 3:03 am

Car looks cool but I don’t like the blue dash inlays.

  26. Joseph Thames on October 22, 2023 at 3:04 am

How much could a fold down arm rest in the back seat cost???

  27. Isaac 84 on October 22, 2023 at 3:08 am

Personally, I prefer the analog gauges in the base model vs the digital screen in the upper trims. If there was an option to get allow rims and push button in the base that’s what I’d buy. I don’t care about the other stuff like automatic climate control screens. I can do manual. Also, option to not have gloss black on the gear shift and bottom of the steering wheel.

  28. Raven on October 22, 2023 at 3:09 am

Thank you for sharing. I would have like to see the screens turned on through.
I like the last car in red, not yellow . 🙂

  29. Doug F on October 22, 2023 at 3:09 am

Why does every GM vehicle seem to check all the boxes, but upon closer inspection have some fatal flaw that disqualifies it from purchase?

  30. Ted Czalbowski on October 22, 2023 at 3:11 am

Is this the same engine size as the trailblazer? Is it sluggish?

  31. Bradford Sparks on October 22, 2023 at 3:15 am

What will be the lifespan of a typical TRAX? 5 yr/50K?

  32. Leon Drolet on October 22, 2023 at 3:15 am

Base model? Gimme the Kase model, please.

  33. T K on October 22, 2023 at 3:16 am

I ordered the exact yellow which arrives in 2 weeks. But just came across envista and i am so confused!! I can pay $1,500 more and wait 2 more months… But haven’t seen both, such a tough call to make…

  34. John Paul McDonald on October 22, 2023 at 3:16 am

Chevy may have a winner on their hands.

  35. Cole James on October 22, 2023 at 3:18 am

I saw one of these around town, I kind of like their look, they almost have a wagon look with how low and streched they are.

  36. Kyle Norris on October 22, 2023 at 3:20 am

If you could get it in a Manual it would be perfect. Wait a 1.6L Diesel and a manual would be perfect

  37. scrambler69 on October 22, 2023 at 3:20 am

I knew he would not spend much time with the base model wanted to know about the powertrain. Wanted to see the storage space in the rear. And in typical young person fashion, he complained about having to use a key. Oh how I wish I could speak to these young reviewers face to face so I could understand why a key Is so bad. Of course, I would probably lose it on him because it just pisses me off so bad about their love for PBS. Just something else to go wrong.

  38. Yungin Glo on October 22, 2023 at 3:21 am

    RS

  39. Meow Station on October 22, 2023 at 3:22 am

I’m so tired of Chevy making SUV’s and not catering to real car guys.

  40. Harlan Dawson on October 22, 2023 at 3:23 am

force fed 3 cyl? lol that killed it for me 137 hp ?

  41. Navy Phyrfitr on October 22, 2023 at 3:23 am

The Chevy Trax is not made in the U.S, its made entirely in South Korea and shipped to North America

  42. Rojo mcdonald on October 22, 2023 at 3:24 am

Tom cruise doing car reviews for tfl he did a great job very in depth and informative.👏

  43. Sentry on October 22, 2023 at 3:25 am

I think I’ve found my next car. I really want a Ford Maverick, but there’s too many shenanigans going on with the availability and pricing. The 2RS with the Sunroof it is. The Sunroof is not standard on any of the trim levels. Its a $895 dollar option.

  44. badbwoyjojo on October 22, 2023 at 3:25 am

    I like the 2RS.

  45. HumblyRich_BingBong on October 22, 2023 at 3:27 am

I’m 6”5 you think I can fit in the car? Lol

  46. RyansuBike on October 22, 2023 at 3:28 am

Hmm an SUV with no 4wd, its like and economy car that gets 20 mpg on the highway. No thank you

  47. FN Uziii on October 22, 2023 at 3:29 am

There are actually 5 trims of the trax: ls , 1rs, lt , 2rs and activ

  48. p z on October 22, 2023 at 3:31 am

    Can you say Daewoo

  49. Richard Crouse on October 22, 2023 at 3:31 am

Thanks for the comparison info. Helps one to decide upon a specific model.
