In today’s used-car market, it can be quite challenging to strike a balance between affordability and reliability when searching for an SUV. To make things worse, used car prices remain considerably high. However, there is still hope. Fortunately, the used SUV market offers some excellent opportunities for buyers. The key is to have knowledge about the appropriate model, trim, and year to avoid any potential drawbacks. That’s why we have assembled a list of 10 pre-owned SUVs with reasonably good mileage that you can purchase for under $20,000. To determine their reliability, we have utilized data from Consumer Reports to rank these vehicles.

2008 honda pilot , 2013 honda crv are the best cars I have owned , still go them,
As a Mazda CX-5 owner i say its realiable and fun and luxury suv at the same time for a low price ❤❤
Great list with some solid choices in there – Can you run the 2015 Lexus on regular gas or do you need to run it on Premium only?
Bro my outlander 2014 trans went bad after a few years of owning it the trans was worth more than the whole car. Sold it for 1k
No large SUVs… Waited through entire video…. Boooik!!! Poor title
Is this channel just all made by AI?
Most underrated =Hyundai Tucson
2:33 my BMW X2 was also made in Germany and I already spent $11,000 on it in 3 years. They are build with cheap plastics
I own a 2018 Outlander GT V6, good to see it made number 4 on the list, no issues at all, so I agree. No CVT either on this one.
There has to be a good reason this made in Japan SUV has a 10 year warranty, flies under the radar of most buyers. I took the zero percent interest deal in 2018 and now it’s 100% paid off.
Just had a full detail done on it, with ceramic coating, and it looks brand new like it just came off the show room floor. This thing got me out a scary watery ditch one time, very safe AWD system.
Thanks
Honda Cr V hybrid
My 2009 Highlander with 148k miles has needed no major repairs. Not great on gas but 🤷🏻♂️
Some of these are good choices, and some are not. I’ve used Consumer Reports before, and it is not a reliable source. A better source is a good mechanic. I think the Toyotas and Hondas are good choices, and possibly also Fords. Also, stay away from CVTs and turbos, which should further keep maintenance costs low.
when he said he is going to use "CONSUMER REPORT" to talk about SUV, that’s when i stop watching this video.
Started to search for some reviews on this subject and realize if this guy’s got 10 of them this video is going to be useless. Some of these are just not reliable number one and number two to claim last a lifetime
The 2018 Subaru Forester is NOT good!! Has many flaws
Had a dodge colt which was a Mitsubishi. 242,000 km . Just change the alternator. It had a 1.6 turbo engine. Best steering feel. Only Mazda can match the steering feel.
2017 rav4 is a pos. Two cv joints gone and transmission has torgue converter issues still that should have been a recall. Burns oil faster than any other vehicle I’ve owned with frequent oil changes. Pcv valve is under the intake. 500 dollar job for 10 dollar part. Brutal pos Toyota.
this is a fraudulent video and channel.
Love my 2016 outlander 3.0 GT
Lexus NX, Are Incredible
This must be AI, and No proof read, cause 4 out of 10 is right. 👎
2004 LEXUS RX330
bulle ke baal you are advertising your own vehicles
I haave an 09 Rav 4 LTD that was purchased pre(scare) and it has been one of the best we;ve owned. Put about 50 k on it and nothing but maintenance so far. It’s sitting at 98k as of today and hope it continues for a long time to come. The only complaint I have is road noise and with the greenhouse(which I love) as big as it is there’s probably not muxh to be donw about it. It’s only nothersome on the hwy so I guess we will invest in a hwy car and use the Rav for everything else.
Why is the most ugliest car the most reliable lol
This guy dosent know anything
What abt ford escape 2013

Lexus RX 350 2015 is one of best preowned suv
2014 outlander is trash
Lost me at Mercedes 😂
my SUV is Honda Element 05,. great on gas and AWD
A lot of people don’t like Turbo, missing N/A V6. This model has V6 hybrid. Unfortunately price is too high. Lexus atleast should have put this V6 in the mid trim Premium.

Which Suv with 3rd road you will recommend from 2019 to 2022. Thank you
I was looking at Hylander or Pilot but ia too pricey. What about the Outlander?
THE 2000 Navigator was a rental SUV at the time I purchased it. I saved 22,000.00 and it had only 18000kg on it at the time of purchase. I drove it for 14 years. It was easy on fuel and had excellent navigation.
I think the lexus gx 460 is the best suv on the planet
Best pre-owned SUV I personally owned: 2001 Subie Forester 5 spd. Great mpg/ reliability
I have a 2004 CR-V with 168,000 miles on it. Just had to replace the chain and tensioners to the tune of $1,500 but that’s the only problem it’s ever given me. So important to always keep up on oil changes and oil levels..burns a bit
I’m looking for a Nissan rogue 2021
I have spent over $30000 on my 2017 Mercedes’ over the last 2 years, headlight and headlight control unit $7700
Front and rear suspension x 2 electronic tailgate, fuel gauge. Hand brake actuator, steering column , +
Never been in an accident. Only my stupidity in buying.
U had until you mentioned Mercedes 😂😂😂
Wish I kept my 2017 Lincon MKC after watching this video.
I had a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander ES. Great car! I regreat to trade her in.
I have a 2010 Lexus ES350 and and RX350 with 133k and 153k miles and they are both pretty bulletproof. I do brakes changes myself, but everything else is routine maintenance, simple and not that expensive. Other brands I have had, transmission didn’t make it past 100k miles. Always and only, buy Toyota.
Recommending a used Mercedes is just insanity.
lexsus and Accura
The best suv I have ever owned was a CRV . I drove the 2004 to 250k . I drove my 2008 to 190k . Only problem I ever had was an a/c compressor at 210k on the 2004 model.
This is an AI channel isn’t it?
