is an essential part of most mobile gadgets sold around the world and demand for cobalt is soaring. But the process of extracting the mineral from the earth comes at a huge human cost.

A Sky News investigation has found children as young as four working in dangerous and squalid conditions in Cobalt mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for as little as 8p a day. Sky’s special correspondent Alex Crawford reports.

WE HAVE TO THINK! EVERY CHINESE BOUGHT SUPPORT THE FASCISTIC AND MAFIA DICTATORSHIP IN CHINA. DONT BUY CHINESE CARS!

  3. Jeff Barron on February 8, 2023 at 9:59 am

I would like to see just a platform, that I could mount my own chassis on .Like say a ’59 Impala

  4. JESSIE MARTIN FOSTER SR. on February 8, 2023 at 9:59 am

WHEN YOU ARE ALWAYS #1 IN ANY KIND OF RACE ,WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM ANYONE COMPETING WITH YOU ! ARE THEY TRYING TO BE #2 ???

    What happen to Volvo xc40?

  6. Michael McGrath on February 8, 2023 at 10:05 am

All these are very interesting, but no car will challenge Tesla until they spend billions rolling out charging stations. That was Tesla’s intelligent move from the very beginning.

  7. Lu on February 8, 2023 at 10:06 am

They better have charging networks. It’s easy to showcase prototypes. But we all know that it takes more than a nice prototype to win the market.

  8. Cynthia DeMario on February 8, 2023 at 10:09 am

Misleading. Nearly all the cars featured are not expected to be available until 2024, not 2023.
The Chinese Neo, with a massive 600 mile battery, is only available in …..China.

  9. TheHighlanderprime on February 8, 2023 at 10:10 am

The Lagonda All Terrain walked away with the prize. That’s a ridiculously impressive ride.

  10. Cynthia Gonzales on February 8, 2023 at 10:10 am

You have to mine for the minerals on land and the Sea bed. How are elec. Cars beneficial?? There NOT!! If you go to the Congo to mine you mess up the Forrest for the Gorillas. You mining nickel and copper also intrudes on the land. Elon and all the other company’s benefit tearing the World up!! Snap out of it American.

  11. Mark Waters on February 8, 2023 at 10:11 am

Will they be sold in the USA, not that this is the be all to end all, but the videos being watched in Hawaii.

  12. Marian Crkon on February 8, 2023 at 10:12 am

I don’t understand why people keep saying "Tesla Killers". New EVs are not killing Teslas! They are killing Toyota Camry and Corolla, they are killing Honda, they are killing Mazda, they are killing Jeep, they are killing VW (especially in China) and so on…

  13. mo mousavi on February 8, 2023 at 10:13 am

Any electric car is better than a Tesla which is now facing significant problems, upcoming recalls, and led by a crazy CEO, built in redneckville. Elon Musk is moving his manufacturing to Texas as a last ditch effort

  14. Frank Merolillo on February 8, 2023 at 10:13 am

They should of made one of the wheels on electric cars a Generator constantly charging the battery. Unless someone is working on that Idea 💡💡💡💡😂

  15. rob coghan on February 8, 2023 at 10:14 am

Plow on trucks and effect of cold

  16. Walter Rumohr on February 8, 2023 at 10:17 am

Tesla will be ahead of all of you by 20 years to catch up. Good luck guys.

  17. T M on February 8, 2023 at 10:22 am

    Not buying Chinese cars, period.

  18. alanparsonsfan on February 8, 2023 at 10:23 am

Good reviews! Thought the price for the Chine se model would be lower, expecially as they have access to their own rare earth minerals. Of course, they do have to recoup their manufacturing and R&D costs and establish a market. Guessing Geely is not playing in this environment yet.

  19. Not Sure on February 8, 2023 at 10:23 am

They won’t be killing Tesla. All these cars charge at home and at Electrify America Chargers, who’s reliability is sketchy and every other charging station is always not working, broke, vandalized and useless. At least Tesla has their network of superchargers. Something the other brands don’t have.

  20. Daniel Seung Hyun Kim on February 8, 2023 at 10:23 am

They are nice but too expensive…😢

  21. Gooner 365 on February 8, 2023 at 10:24 am

looking forward to the BYD suv U8. Could be a game changer

  22. Alex Xiao on February 8, 2023 at 10:24 am

as a car, it needs to be produced in large quantities and good quality with low cost. A long way to catch up

  23. Boe Brown on February 8, 2023 at 10:24 am

NONE OF YOU MANUFACTURES hold a candle up to Maxwell Chikumbotso’s E. Car that runs on electromagnetic radio waves! But do you…….Gen pop; LOOK HIM UP!

  24. Sheila Stahl on February 8, 2023 at 10:24 am

All these Tesla Killers better be so very glad Elon is allowing them to use our charing ports around the globe so they can leave home.

  25. Thomas Carrington on February 8, 2023 at 10:25 am

Yeah, let me just say right now, no one will even get close to Tesla!

  26. cjzito on February 8, 2023 at 10:25 am

Ummm . . . Fisker Ocean? It’s going to be the biggest competitor to the Tesla Y. Someone didn’t do their homework. Fail.

  27. Santiago on February 8, 2023 at 10:26 am

    Tesla what?????????

  28. Fish on February 8, 2023 at 10:27 am

Need better range and faster charging

  29. Jazz S on February 8, 2023 at 10:29 am

Nothing new here, all the info covered is already at most media or websites

  30. Mike Ba on February 8, 2023 at 10:31 am

If you are looking for EV don’t underestimate lack of super charger network. Only TESLA solved this problem in US.

  31. Proton Neutron on February 8, 2023 at 10:31 am

"Tesla killers"? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Tesla has NEVER sold more than a FRACTION OF ONE PERCENT of new cars sold in the USA. It has been a MARKET FAILURE even with ILLEGAL government subsidies. THERE"S NOTHING TO "KILL"!!!! This is The Car Space" and you are totally ignorant of the auto industry

  32. MURRAY on February 8, 2023 at 10:31 am

don’t underestimate Tesla or Musk. both will survive and prosper. other challengers will fade.

  33. Betazero on February 8, 2023 at 10:32 am

Tesla is already "dead" and not by any one company but by all the manufacturers. Tesla is just a choice now. Do you want a boring 10 old design or something cool and fresh.

  34. blxtothis on February 8, 2023 at 10:33 am

Take every claim of range with a Siberian Salt Mine, this amateurish load of tosh is nothing but a press release extolling the lies that propagate this motor industry, there is nothing to show any form of analysis or critique.

  35. T. Agee Kaye on February 8, 2023 at 10:34 am

All seem good. But, by the time they get to the battlefield, Tesla has won and moved on.

  36. Christopher Hand on February 8, 2023 at 10:36 am

    Elon is awesome

  37. Sam Coy on February 8, 2023 at 10:36 am

ive seen the same tesla killers videos for the last 7+ years and yet none have killed tesla

  38. Fahim Rashid on February 8, 2023 at 10:36 am

BYD thats the Chinese future and will become huawei of cars

  39. memyselfundeye on February 8, 2023 at 10:37 am

Ummmm..Fisker? Hello. 350 mile range, 0-60 in 3.5, room for 5 adults and solar panel roof to add another 1500++ miles a year from the sun- for less than $70k for top model with EVERY option including 22” alloy rims. Best part is that it doesn’t look fugly like a Kia or boring like a Toyota.

  40. Robert Kattner on February 8, 2023 at 10:39 am

That why Musk sold his Tesla shares. Batteries are going dead , can’t be recycled. Millions of batteries going to the landfill. Same with the wind turbines, off to the landfill.

  41. longcimb on February 8, 2023 at 10:41 am

BYD is the name to look out for, quality, performance and most important, affordability

  42. Jack Rader on February 8, 2023 at 10:43 am

What about the Frisker Ocean 39;000 out at the end of November-and building a factory in Ohio to build three different smaller types in 2023

  43. KN7X on February 8, 2023 at 10:43 am

Do they have superchargers across the country?

  44. TaggsR85 on February 8, 2023 at 10:44 am

We have been hearing about Tesla killers for a while. Nothing at a reasonable price yet. We also heard about so many apple killers too

  45. jrufinoo on February 8, 2023 at 10:47 am

Not a very good video. Very flamboyant

  46. None on February 8, 2023 at 10:48 am

What happens when rapid technological advances make your expensive, virtue-signaling EV redundant overnight and governments stop making charging stations to service your old technology?

Your EV becomes a dog kennel because no-one will want it. Meanwhile I will just keep on trucking on until something better comes along. By that time my car will be driven into the ground anyway and I’ll be negotiating a walker.

  47. Eriq Breland on February 8, 2023 at 10:49 am

I’d only put Lucid and maybe Rivian in the same category as Tesla and both of them need to prove they can be viable production companies. No other car manufacturer even comes close

  48. KHANH NGUYEN TV9 on February 8, 2023 at 10:49 am

    NEO from china…nogood

  49. Allen Yeong on February 8, 2023 at 10:49 am

What is the difference between SUV and EV?

  50. Robert Heitner on February 8, 2023 at 10:49 am

Other than the Kia, it does not look like any of them are coming out in 2023.
